Hangry joes is my go to spot in the boro for hot chicken, the staff over the phone were able to give me the Scoville levels when asked which was impressive. I don’t know if that’s part of the training or independent employee research but I enjoyed it.Now if your an advocate spice eater like me it may not be a match for some of the competitive hot food contest but it will definitely gives you the kick I ordered their highest tier and at some on its own and then added some of my own pepper X hot sauce. Just to see the compliment well I can say the chicken is fine on its own, adding your own hot sauce. Ruins the flavor in exchange to get abit more spice. Which is not a worth it trade off. Their seasonings complement their chicken and the chicken has its own assortment of flavors to compliment their smooth spice. I would like to suggest trying to see if they can do a pepper X thing one day that does compliment the chicken like how all their other tiers do but if it’s not possible then keep doing what you are doing it’s amazing.Their angry hot is the best you will find spice and flavor levels combined in the boro. There is a place that beats the raw heat, but doesn’t have the flavor that Hangry joes provided.Now for the fun part the spicy soy garlic, and the soy garlic, I came to them as a hot chicken place and was not let down. But these two sauces compliment every chicken tier they have so well. The sauce goes good on stuff I cook at home as well. My recommendation if you like a nice kick and flavor. Grab some angry hot chicken tenders. And dip them in one of those garlic soy. You can probably use any of their sauces they offer. But these are my go to. Their sauces and chicken all seems to work in harmony. So next time you think to add your own hot sauce. Just pick one of their sauces the flavor is much better

I had a Jr. Sando hot, with bun, slaw on the side. I requested extra pickles. The pickles are delicious. They are crisp and fresh. The fried okra was my favorite. Chicken had a great hot chicken flavor. Food was made to order. It was hot and fresh. The bubble teas are good. It is very casual. The homemade ranch is the bomb.com.
