If you’re looking for a CrossFit gym, CrossFit OYL is amazing. The facility is beautiful, the coaches are incredible, and the community is truly something special. Everyone is welcome!They offer so many class times, which makes it easy to fit into my busy working mom schedule, and I love that they also have HYROX training. One of my favorite things is how they structure their programming—there are tracks for beginner, intermediate, RX, and compete, so you can truly go at your own pace while still being challenged. Every class is coach-led, so you always feel supported and guided.I started CrossFit back in June of 2025, and now I’m competing in the CrossFit Quarterfinals. That says a lot about the level of coaching and encouragement you get at OYL.So thankful I found this place and for how much I’ve grown into the athlete I am today!

I found this AMAZING gym in Haslet, TX today! Great facility with great equipment, top-tier coaching (Thank you Coach Chelsea!), and a super supportive community. I dropped in for the day at CrossFit OYL and got to spend a good part of the morning with Mike Wilson the owner. I could not have been more impressed with Mike and his leadership. What a remarkable team and culture Mike has built. Just wanted to say thank you for hosting us Mike, and there is no doubt that this is the best gym in Hazlett, Texas. CrossFit OYL is a first for me, but I can happily say that it has changed me and pushed me to limits and strengths I didn’t know I had! I’ve been an athlete most of my life, but CrossFit OYL is a sport I never thought I could handle until I had officially walked thru those doors. I cannot say enough about my experience at CrossFit OYL. I joined because I needed to do something different than what I was doing, because it was no longer working. The coaches and programs are phenomenal, and the members are just as great. Do not underestimate your ability to be successful here, there are all fitness levels, ages and abilities and the coaches are able to easily modify things to account for injuries or fitness level. 100% Recommend!

Crossfit OYL has hands down been the best thing to come of my fitness journey in 2025. I originally joined because I saw that they were a Hyrox affiliate gym and since I was competing in my first race in Nov, I thought I could use some structure for my training. I had zero interest in crossfit, mainly because I thought that you had to be super strong and fit in order to do crossfit (both of which I wouldn't define myself as). I quickly learned that crossfit is for EVERYONE and I quickly became addicted to showing up and getting better. The community at OYL is the absolute best. All of the coaches learn your name and the other members in the class make an effort to get to know you and support you. It is truly the best environment to be in if you want to grow, learn, and better yourself every day. I will forever recommend this community to anyone and everyone!

I have been going to classes at OYL for right at a year. I can't put into words what their programming and accountability have done for my confidence, mental health and my overall fitness level. The texts and reminders to help stay on track were just want I needed to get back into the habit! The coaches are all very helpful and even give you tips on how to scale movements if you can't do something in a workout. I was a bit intimidated when I first joined but that has disappeared with time. The encouragement that the coaches and other members provide daily helps to push through each workout giving it everything I have! Thank you OYL for helping get me back on track and investing in my future self! I kept my word to myself for 2025!

CrossFit OYL has truly changed my life. My husband was the one who initially signed us up, and I’ll admit, I wasn’t very excited at first.
