Stumbled upon the Scoob and I dog training Tiktok for content on confidence. Its been about 3 weeks of slowly implementing some new training for our pup. He eats all of his food in one sitting (which never happened before because of guarding or distractions - he is a always scared rescue dog), he doesn’t need to sleep on top of us and he walks outside like a saint! Thanks so much for what you do!

Joel saved me from a lot of heartache, time and possible danger to myself. He helped me on my decision to adopt a large abandoned dog and assured me that I made the right decision on passing on this endeavor as I was not capable and should be left to professionals. At least I don’t feel like a failure. I like his slow clear way of explaining things as well for my other three dogs and look forward to our sessions for them.in the near future. Highly recommended. One thing I really, truly appreciate is how he breaks it down so that you as the human part of the equation understand your dog and how to work with them.I’ve gained so much from his self-paced Digital Dog School, which gave me a solid foundation, and also his content across TT, YouTube, FB and IG is an ongoing source of tips, support, and encouragement. Not to mention, funny. You could simply watch his content for the entertainment value!More recently, I had a one-on-one session with Joel, and it made such a difference. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and really helped me understand how to work with my older French bulldog and her quirks/needs — especially with her reactivity toward other dogs and getting more comfortable in the crate. For anyone who is considering signing up for dog training or is unsure, please do it! I have tried multiple trainers and animal behaviorists (about 7 total) to help with my husky/shepherd mix. I had extreme difficulty even getting my dog interested in food (let alone treats) or playing with his humans. This anxiety and lack of confidence has caused some resource guarding behavior of the things my dog does value. After only a couple of weeks I am already seeing an improvement. My doggo is starting to eat on his own (no hand feeding!!) and played an excellent game of chase the treats this morning. Also, when out on a potty walk yesterday he actually rolled a ball back to a doodle that had dropped it. His methods not only work, they are actually fun! Can't wait to see where we are this time next year.

We adopted our dog Sully without fully realizing how high-energy and high-needs he would be. After trying a local dog training class with little progress, we found Joel, and the difference he's made with Sully has been incredible. Joel is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, and he equipped us with everything we needed to help Sully thrive. From teaching us how to meet Sully's needs through structured exercise and play to showing us how to help him calm down indoors, Joel's guidance has been invaluable. He also prepared us for helping Sully adjust to big life changes, like us bringing a baby into the home. Joel covered every struggle we encountered with practical, effective solutions. We joined one of his group online lessons and also booked several private sessions to get personalized support. Each session gave us new tools and confidence in raising our puppy boy. Highly recommend the Digital Dog School for anyone at any level of pet dog training experience. The approach and curriculum are fresh and extremely effective. For me, the best part of the program is learning how to cohabitate with your dog while building a rock solid relationship at the same time. Joel is extremely knowledgeable and will present all information in a way that is easy to understand and apply to your real life situations. Plus this program is SO MUCH FUN!

2 trainers and a vet behaviorist later, I did a consult with Joel. (should have did this sooner) At the beginning of the consult, I was in tears explaining everything we are doing/have done to help one of our dogs. (anxiety, sudden inter-dog aggression, hyper-fixation) By the end of a very in depth consult, I knew and felt that this time, things will be different. Joel is honest and will break things down so you get it. He will give examples. He will answer your questions. He will not hang up at "times up" until he has addressed everything. Not all dogs are the same, not all training methods are the way to go. Our dog needs her specific needs and level of sensitivity to be addressed in a manner that we were not meeting before. Joel's way is different than the rest. I can say this with confidence! We are few videos in and are enjoying each step with our girl. I'm sure she'd tell you she is enjoying it too! These are not corrections and harsh methods that focus on dominating your dog. Your dog is going to think you are the best person ever and thank you. Joel is THE dog person. He will hear you out, then provide the encouragement and steps you need to form the best relationship with your dog. You will be happy, your dogs will be happy. Take the plunge and sign up for the online training school. The per month cost is less than 2-3 trips to that famous coffee place. We really needed the extra help, so we also invested in the personal meetings. Here's to a stable and happy future!

I can't speak highly enough of Joel. My dog was an excitement reactive mess before we started digital dog school. In just about 2 months, I went from a dog that blew me off for fun to a dog that can walk in a heel with 20 feet of leash dragging between us and recall from a quarter mile away. We're still working on the reactivity at close range, but we're taking steps and moving in the right direction. Our bond has never been stronger. One day I'll be able to fully trust him, and I know that day will be sooner than I anticipate based on how well my dog Bucky has been doing. Go play with your dog 🩷

You helped me with Macy! I remember when I picked her up the last time that you had mentioned that people would never get back in contact with you after they picked there dog up and you didn't know if you were that good or not and I just wanted to let you know that you are that good! Back in December we started to have some issues with Macy but went back to the basics of playing with her and stimulating her mentally and she's right back to how she was when I picked her up from you. You really are amazing and great at what you do!

Joel is the best dog trainer I've ever worked with. His methods are easily understood and work. Some seem to be the opposite of what I've learned from other trainers, but his actually WORK! He's also extremely patient with both me and my pup.
