Zach, is literally the most empathetic, kind, organized, knowledgeable, and understanding & thorough boss in this industry and just overall a good human( which is rare in this world.) my husband, daughter, & I (including 3 dogs) were left in complete mayhem and disarray after coming home from being away and finding out our rental home water heater burst and flooded our entire basement which included our daughters room, a living area, and laundry area. It was all a nightmare including my landlords doing their job with njm insurance . On top of that I am terminally and sick and receive at home care 3 times a week doing treatments. Anyway from the moment we first spoke and I explained all of this to him frantically and overwhelmed Zach didn’t dismiss me but rather made himself available to us to get everything done for us asap despite still waiting on the insurance company to pay for the pods etc. because we would have to come out of pocket ourselves until later and we are already tight for money with everything as it is and all of the disaster. I utilized 'UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Bucks and Mercer County'. 'Zach' was so much more than helpful and accommodated me immensely towards my unique needs to store furniture and other household items on my premises. He gave me multiple options of which I would have normally not been made aware of, were it not for his expertise in the industry. He was especially gracious, compassionate and patient enough with me to allow the necessary time needed (by me) to 'shop around' with a competitor, not only for price but to research the unique utility requirements that I presented to him. Eventually, I 'came to my senses', realizing that he was not only giving me the most value for my dollar and distinct needs, but I was also made aware that there were no additional 'hidden costs' tacked onto the final invoice, as other vendors only presented in 'the fine print'. The 'UNIT' was delivered on site, on the agreed upon designated date and in a timely manner to the point where 'Zach' gave me a courtesy confirmation text, less than 10 minutes prior to its delivery. 'George' the driver/expediter went about his business in a diligent and skillful manner, all the while, maintaining a professional decorum. He was able to precisely place the 'UNIT' onto my driveway, as per my request. He even placed the appropriate required leveling spacers, which not only protected my driveway but allowed for ease in placing my items within the 'UNIT'. Even throughout my moving 'adventure', 'Zach' contacted me, inquiring on my behalf, the progress I was achieving and if I required any additional advice or assistance. Being that I never encountered this facet of relocating my possessions in such a manner, 'Zach's' inquiries and support were most gratifying and applauded by me. If the need should ever arise where I would require temporary storage, as in my case or if I ever had the need to ship my possessions to another site location, I would not hesitate to recommend or utilize 'UNITS' services once again. Five stars isn’t enough. I contacted Units when I was moving but didn’t currently have a new house yet. I got the phone # from a family member who saw one on the street. I needed to pack it and store it. When I called I dealt with Zack. He was amazing he was so upbeat and friendly. In the midst of all this I had a death in my immediate family ( the same person who told me about UNITS)and I called countless times to change pick up day and time and to ask more questions. He had the patience of a saint. Then to top it all off the credit card I had put on file with them for my storage fees was lost in the move (probably in the unit… Lol) and again I called Zach and he was more than helpful. One of the “standard” engineering practices is to go LEAN by eliminating any wasted steps. Why would anyone want to move their stuff to a rented truck, then unload to rented/leased public Storage? And that’s not done because when you are ready, you will need to load from Storage to the truck and then unload from trucks to the new house. That step is too painful, time-consuming, and not justify the cost. I went a little overboard by putting all dimensions of my personal belongings WxLxH in AutoCAD and added a QR code to find items when unloading efficiently. I was concerned about how the load would be picked up and dropped off due to transportation, shifting, or forklift tilt angles. They dropped off the empty container for me to load and I was so impressed because they were using a custom AGV (automated guide vehicle). I knew I was in good hands immediately because I also specialize in designing AGV robots to support material handling to avoid damaging products from continuous human interaction. I had 2 UNITS containers stored in their warehouse for over six months, and when I had those containers dropped off at my new house, I did not see any shifting or movements. I am so thankful to find UNITS meets my requirements and is a one-stop-shop. Zach at UNIT is excellent to work with. I highly recommend using this method IF I have to move again (hopefully not, still painful). One suggestion I have for UNITS is to incorporate supplying totes at request inside the containers on delivery in the future to avoid going out to purchase yourself. Maybe at half cost because it gets returned at the end of the day. Win/Win. Totes are the best way to secure materials and pack space because they can be stacked evenly. It is not heavy when you buy one, but a stack of 5 requires some muscles. And most importantly, I don’t have over 100 totes and lids sitting in my garage. Less

UNITS lives up to their 5 star rating. One of the owners, Zach, was in touch with me throughout the whole process. He was very informative and great at communicating. Communication was key for my move because I required 3 pods, but only could fit 2 on my property at a time. By communicating with Zach, we were able to work out drop offs and pick ups perfectly.
