I joined Base 13 on a trial membership and so far it’s been fantastic. The classes are challenging, the trainers are super helpful and the new gym is top notch. I’m going to be signing up as a full member when the trial expires as it seems like a real community and everyone I’ve met there really enjoys it. Less

Just finished my first month at Base13. Really impressed with the coaching team, the new gym set up and the programming. There’s plenty of variety of classes, and a community spirit that transcends the gym floor. The new gym facilities are excellent with ample space to spread out during the busier classes. The onboarding experience was well considered and I am already up and running, and enjoying the training. Keep up the good work guys! Less

I've been considering joining this gym for a while and I'm so glad I've finally done it! I've just completed my first month and am already feeling hooked. It's great to be doing weights and small group training, which is something I've never done before. The coaches are all super friendly, and supportive and take the time to talk through everything for a beginner like me. Everyone I've met in the classes have been really friendly too and I can see the real sense of community in Base 13. I'm looking forward to setting some goals and continuing my Base 13 Journey in 2025 - thanks Henry and team! Less

Recently moved to the area and signed up to the trial having used various gyms and trainers over the years. Really happy I found Base 13, the small group PT format is great fun, the trainers are really helpful with technique and there is an easy to use app to book and track progress. Friendly atmosphere and big mix of abilities and ages - everyone is welcome, would recommend! Less

I’ve always hated gyms. Truly, the thought of PT sessions just made me want to hide under my duvet. On my first day here, I even warned the owner: “I’m going to be your worst customer – expect plenty of moaning!” Fast forward three weeks, and I’ve now completed 8 sessions. If that’s not a testament to how incredible this place is, I don’t know what is! The team here is warm, fun, and wonderfully human. The small group PT sessions are the perfect balance of challenging and approachable, and the best part? They’re not intimidating! Everyone shows up as they are—different shapes, sizes, fitness levels, and no one is here to judge. There’s such a welcoming vibe that even I (a self-proclaimed gym hater) feel right at home. What sets this gym apart is the focus on community. It’s not just about sweating through a workout—there are extracurricular activities that aren’t gym-related, and they actively encourage balance in your life. It’s refreshing to be in a space that understands fitness is just one part of the bigger picture. And you know what? I think I’m finally feeling those elusive post-gym endorphins everyone always talks about. Who knew?! One of the best gyms I have ever been privileged to be a member of, the setup of classes really push you to achieve your goals, the trainers are second to none and the members are really friendly and always happy to help new people. Cannot recommend the gym more, if you are unsure on how much you can get from it, they also off a trial month which opens up all classes to explore. With classes being on from the early hours in the morning till the late evening! Less
