Ardent Fitness genuinely changed my life, and may have improved it if not outright saved it. I had struggled to lose weight for most of my life. I was eating “healthy,” worked out, and thought I was making the right decisions; however, the weight never actually came off. That all changed last year when I signed up for Ardent Fitness’s nutrition program with Coach Bryan. After a short time to get my nutritional and caloric needs ironed out, I began losing a couple pounds of fat per week while also gaining strength for most of my weight loss journey. This was not a single-step process, but one that was initially tailored to me and adapted as my needs changed.Fast forward to now, I’m approximately 40 lbs. lighter, gaining strength, and in the range I wanted to be. Additionally, I am the leanest and healthiest I have ever been in my life at the age of 46 at the time of this writing. I would be lighter but as my goals included performance goals so we are currently working on strength and muscle gains with a long-term goal of ultimately getting stronger and staying within a range of body fat. At present I want to just keep improving and they have been great at adapting and being fluid based on where I am at in a longer-term journey. Ardent Fitness is amazing at customizing what they do based on your goals and how you are progressing.Furthermore, Ardent Fitness is a very supportive and inclusive gym. I genuinely enjoy all of the coaches and owner Austin and his employees do great work in the community, adopting a family every Christmas, offering youth programs, and various other programs. It is a gym I am happy to support filled with high-quality people (coaches AND members) who are knowledgeable and friendly, and who I feel good being associated with. Ultimately, results matter. And the results I have seen in myself and others at Ardent Fitness really do speak for themselves. I am much more likely to have a longer, healthier, more capable life free of health problems that being overweight or obese would have likely led to. And while their group classes are primarily CrossFit-style workouts with strength components, they have a variety of offerings, including personal training, they scale things to your skill level, and offer a no-pressure consultation to ensure they’re a good fit for you.If you are looking to get into great shape and improve your overall health and wellness, Ardent Fitness is a great place to get started!
