My son took his 1st class and thoroughly enjoyed it. What was impressive was how the students themselves automatically jump in to help the new kids with anything they may need such as helping with technical things or uniform problems … this is exactly what my son needs for controlling his anger and self control when being bullied at school by knowing he doesn’t have to have an outburst or strike the bully but can take down the bully at any moment and put him/her into a submission hold. If your kid has been subjected to bullying, this is the place to go!!👍🏻👍🏻

We were struggling trying to find something that our 3 year old would enjoy doing. We’ve tried gymnastics and soccer, they didn’t work out. Since day one of stepping on the mats, my daughter absolutely has loved it every step of the way! In April will be a year that she’s been going and she has grown and learned so much since. Very thankful for professor Brian and professor christy for everything they do ❤️

Professor Brian and Professor Christy are very professional in teaching Jujitsu. They are very knowledgeable in how and what they teach, with many ranges of age. My grandkiddos and myself go there not only to learn the are of Jujitsu and kickboxing but they make it fun in what they teach. They are very loyal, Christian based people. I personally would recommend this sport to all. I enjoy going and watching how they teach and how the students learn. Each of my grandkiddos have learned so much from the m both. And they ha e grown in so many areas of their lives. They also love to compete in the Jujitsu tournaments. Thank to this very strong family based couple who give all to what they know and love.

Professor Brian and Professor Christy are amazing. Instruction is grade A and disciplined, yet still fun. GB Bastrop is a family environment, and family oriented gym. You'll be hard pressed to find another gym as intense yet fun as this one!

Definitely recommend this school not just for the sport but the people as well. It’s fun watching the kids gain their confidence in takedowns! Prof BP and Coach CP are so patient with them, but at the same time disciplined. As an adult in BJJ, this is where I started and I drive 40-50 minutes each way to come to this location. I wanted a place where ladies trained because I’m not fully comfortable training with men yet. I found that in GB Bastrop and have slowly gained my confidence and love for BJJ. I love open mat training days, how you can train at any location as a GB student, but most of all - it’s definitely the good hearted people that keeps me coming back. ❤️

The instructors are awesome. My grandkids attend and absolutely love this place! I have seen a positive change in all 3 of them. Disciplined, much more respectful (not that they weren't before), and having a lot of fun!

The dedication of Professor Brian and Coach Christy is unmatched! Jiu Jitsu is such a great sport for the whole family to get involved with together. My family has learned defense skills, nutrition and discipline!

We absolutely love going to this school. Brian and Christy are very personable and professional. They are eager to teach, and do it very well. I admire the patience they both have with children and adults. My step son has gone here for a few months and I watched on the sidelines as the children not only learn discipline and how to become better athletes, but they also have fun doing it! So I signed up!!! This school has become a family. Highly recommended!

A year ago I've been working to move in my own place. Another city mostly. Then jiu-jitsu happened. I don't think I could ever have my kids learn from someone else. A million Gracie Barras but only 1 set of coaches like the ones we have! Words could never explain the support and feeling of working with them! Change your moving plans like I did cause GB Bastrop will keep you hooked!

Brian and Christy are extremely knowledgeable and skilled with their craft which is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Brian is a former coach of mine and to see him evolve to a Black Belt and Christy to Brown is phenomenal. I recommend them one hundred percent.

What an amazing family owned and operated gym. The gym itself is spotless with brand new mats as well as and area for striking/kick boxing/ muey thai. Professor Brian and Coach Christy are amazing teachers as well as just amazing all around folks. They have something for everyone on any level, drop in and see what's good in Bastrop!
