Genesis K9 Training has been one of the best investments we could have made for our dogs and our family!!! We were in a desperate place with helping our rescue dog. He needed a reset from living on the streets, where he was his own boss in his fight to survive. Mike gave us the structure to gently but assuredly step in as the leader of his pack, a place where he relaxed into the safety of our confidence that we could protect him, rather than he feel like he needed to protect us. Mike’s training was just as much about training us as it was our boy. I’m now a confident dog parent and understand what was driving our boy’s reactions to other dogs and some people. Did all of our dog’s instincts to protect us go away, no, and neither should they have. The difference is now, thanks to Mike, we know how to communicate to him our boundaries for his behavior and, like a child, he feels safe under our rules. My journey with Mike was moving. His compassion, tempered with his gently firm presence, was precisely what we needed. Thank you, Coach Mike. This is your calling.

Mike is amazing at training. Our doggos Bentley and Jade attended his dog camp it was for a month. He provided videos for us and instructions to work at home. We have well behaved off leash trained dogs. They are so great we have recently visited national parks with distractions from animals and people they were able to ride the bus in and even go in the parks several people asked if they were service dogs.
