Maher is the best trash company. They are easy to work with and their employees are awesome. I forgot to put my trash out today and the gentlemen on the truck walked up my driveway and took care of it. He definitely did not need to do that as it was my mistake. The service Maher provides is top notch I called about adding another trash barrel to our household because the towns wasn’t enough room for everyone in our household and they are always on time and so professional. I also got a 2 yard dumpster as I’m slowly getting rid of junk in my house and it has been an incredible experience I will never use anyone else for my trash needs! Less

Me and my wife just purchased a new home. We knew we needed trash pickup but didn’t really know who to go with or where to start. We called a few companies and we either had to wait on hold or the price was outrageous. When we called Maher we spoke with someone right away and they got our trash cans out to us the next day! I can’t say enough good things about this company without them our new home experience would not have been nearly as good or gone nearly as smooth. After several desperate attempts to find a trash disposal company we opted to try Maher which was recommended by my brother. I could not be more pleased. They go over and above to provide service, even taking the time to seek out our recycling bin when we get the weeks confused. We have also utilized their junk removal services on two occasions and found those employees to be very helpful and efficient. Looking forward to using their other services in the future. When our previous company was sold to a larger group, we were at a loss to find service equal to what we had been receiving. Maher is all that and more! Less

Maher has been a great trash and recycling service for us. We dealt with the chaos of ABC and then all the other that bought them, and this has been a pleasant change of pace. You don’t wait on the phone because this is a professional local business and they swoop in like ninjas in the night because I have never seen or heard them pick up the trash. Maher had been an exceptional company to deal with. They pick up the trash EVERY WEEK, no matter if there is a holiday. They take extra bags if we excess without an additional charge. When we moved in there was a lot of trash, including hazardous waste. The charge for this was a lot lower than anyone else we asked. They also took all of our moving boxes with no extra charge. I agree with what people are saying here about Maher and that's why we went with them when we moved to Carver a couple of months ago. Since then they have been great on the phone and have been good about communicating with us via email. Last week they reached out about our service day changing but we forgot to put our trash out. Not to worry, the guys on the truck saw that we had forgotten and came down our driveway and took the receptacle out to the truck and back! Wow were we impressed. I’ve been dealing with Waste Management since May of last year for disposal. It has been nothing but headaches since. Missed pickups, rescheduled pickups, constant price increases with no notification of such increases. Every bill had an extra and increasingly expensive “fuel fee” and “service fee”. I went from paying $75 a month to $130 for the month of October (billed ahead of time). I’ll also add that I was paying for service of two trash and two recycle barrels but had only ever received one recycle barrel. I must have called them ten times before giving up on them delivering a second one. After waiting on hold for 15-20 mins waiting for a human each call, it became really frustrating. Perhaps by design? When I saw the most recent bill, I finally had enough. Upshot to a week ago, when I started calling around for rates. After a quick Google search for a company that serviced Carver, I had 4 companies in the running. Maher was the last one. I’ll start by saying, a human answers the phone (!), and I was really surprised at how nice it was to speak to someone who didn’t answer my questions -with more questions. The guy on the phone was polite, direct, and helpful. NOT ONLY was Maher the cheapest rate around, but they have BIGGER barrels available, at 96 gallons. I was sold. Jump to today. I left for work earlier than usual and didn’t realize until I got there, that I never put the barrels out at the end of the driveway. I’m used to Waste Management coming on Thursday every week (that is, when they actually show up), and it slipped my mind that Maher’s day is Wednesday. I prepared myself for another week of full barrels, and went on with my day. I just got home from work to find my Maher barrels, nice and neat, at the end of my driveway. EMPTY. I was really confused and checked the outside cameras. This man really got out of his truck IN THE POURING RAIN and dragged my barrels to the end of my driveway to empty them. Then, got back out of his truck to tidy them to the side, so I could still enter the driveway. I’m in shock. In this day and age, we’re not used to companies being human. -Being courteous. -Being kind. It’s a lost trait in business nowadays. I’m beyond thankful. They earned a lifelong and loyal customer today, and I’ll tell everyone I know to switch to Maher. Less

John came out quickly. I had several heavy items and he beasted the job. John was also very pleasant and professional. Mike who I setup the job through was equally great. I think it says a lot about a company when not only the service is outstanding but the people are as well. I would absolutely recommend this company.
