1st day after my Cataract Surgery at Moorfields London- Sharmina Khan Eye Clinic and am recovering watching the Six Nations : Ireland v France match with great vision in my affected eye, almost no pain only a very occasional twinge with no pain relief needed. Consultant Opthalmic surgeon Miss Kahn did the cataract operation in both my eyes with an interval of about a month and she was brilliant. She was very caring and thorough with her examinations. The operations were done efficiently with no complications or side effects like halos or floaters etc. These operations were done under local anaesthesia and sedation and the Anaesthetist was brilliant too. In fact the whole multi-disciplinary team team was friendly and so efficient. Having my Cataract surgery with Shamina Khan and her team was fantastic. I had never had the surgery before and heard a lot of fake rumours of what was going to take place.
