I have enjoyed my time in the Silver Dragons class. The students are very welcoming and supportive. Barbara is a gifted instructor, providing guidance at every turn. I would highly recommend this class for people of a certain age that want to keep their bodies healthy and active.

Kuk Sool Won is a disciplined place with friendly and encouraging instructors. I’ve learned a lot in a short time, and they pay attention to each student individually.The instructors are well trained and explain the reasoning behind the techniques, which makes them easier to understand. There are students of all ages, and the environment is very encouraging.A great place to start and discover that you’re stronger than you think. Definitely recommend!

Our son has attended Kuk Sool Won of Oak Hill for many years now, and it has been a pleasure to watch him grow under the tutelage of several skilled teachers. The owners Barbara and Tim King are both advanced practioners, and their love for the sport really comes through in their dedication to the students and Kuk Sool community. Like many martial arts programs, Kuk Sool involves a level of discipline and etiquette that can take younger students a while to embody, but kids are supported with clear expectations and gentle guidance. Overall I have found the school to be inclusive and accomodating to students with disabilities and varying skillsets. I highly recommend signing up for the free trial to see if it's a good fit for you and your family!

We love this place! The instructors are so kind and patient — they really know how to connect with kids and make them feel confident. The classes are fun and our son looks forward to every single one. The progress he’s made has been incredible to see, and the community here is just the best. Highly recommend!

My 10 year old son hasn’t loved any sport or extra-curricular as much as he loves KSW! Kids and coaches of all levels and ages support one another by helping with one on one training. It’s really a community of learners! As a parent I also very much appreciate the kindness and positive attitude of the owners and coaches. I can tell the care!

My son has absolutely loved every second here! In just 6 months, I’ve seen such amazing progress not only in his skills, but also in his confidence, focus, and discipline. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly invested in helping each child succeed. Every class is something he looks forward to, and it’s been wonderful watching him grow both physically and mentally. I couldn’t be happier with the positive impact this program has had on him!
