Sadly I probably won't be back because it was a fluke I was here in the first place. If I am, though, I'll DEFINITELY order more and bring friends. My to-go order of chicken breast salad and order of guac we're really good. Chicken cooked perfectly, dressing came on the side, guac came with really good fairly-spicy salsa. So I was doing a job down the street and happened to see this place while I was going to 7 eleven and I decided to stop and I'm glad I did. Not to be perfectly honest whenever I got to a mexican restaurant i always order a cheeseburger. This time I ordered a mexican dish and boy was it tasty. I got the Don J's special and a must try. The enchiladas covered in Carne quisada was the most amazing thing i have ever tasted in my life. The service was great and the atmosphere was also a great experience. The Chimichanga was absolutely amazing! The salsa was so fresh and had the perfect kick to it! Service was above excellent always stopping by to Make sure drinks were full and chips and salsa were fresh and full as well. The pineapple jalapeno margarita was my favorite perfect spice and one did the trick I felt wonderful leaving this restaurant! Also the price of all items was under most Tex Mex you go to now with the quality being above most! Looking for amazing decent prices food look no further! Less

The carne guisada was really good, prepared in classic South Texas fashion. The beans were extremely flavorful. The rice was bland but edible with table salt, the tortillas were hot but not homemade. Their queso was a bit thin but flavorful as well. I did appreciate the lettuce and tomato salad served with the lunch portion to keep things fresh. Some of the people I was with got the lunch fajitas and it was a huge portion on a hot plate, I almost wish I’d had that. Less

I had a chimichanga and it was good. It could have been a little crispier but I went in to eat fast and leave. And the food came out hot and fast. The salsa that they give you is between medium and hot. So if you don't like hot be careful with the salsa. Less

**Review: Hot Salsa & Chimichanga Envy** When in Austin, you have to try this spot. Why? Because the moment you sit down, they hit you with chips and salsa like they’re the Oprah of appetizers: *“You get chips! You get chips!”* And the salsa? It was hot enough to make me sweat, but delicious enough to make me keep eating it, even though my tongue begged me to stop. The service was fantastic—fast, friendly, and they didn’t give me side-eye when I asked for extra napkins because, yes, I *am* a mess. I ordered the barbacoa street tacos, which were good. Like, “Oh yeah, this is solid” good. But then my dad had to outshine me with his order: the chimichanga. One bite of his and I knew I’d messed up. His chimichanga was a deep-fried masterpiece, smothered in sauce, and possibly cooked by angels. In hindsight, I should have either stolen his plate or ordered two meals for myself. Lesson learned: when at this place, just go for the chimichanga. Or bring a dad who’s willing to share.
