Okay, so.... I had the need for an emergency ironing of my suit and shirt and needed it done within 12 hours. They were more than helpful AND came out looking amazing + didn't break the bank. 10/10 recommend.

We have been with Spartan Cleaners for over 10 years + and are pleased with the quality of service. We love the pickup and delivery. The girls we know are 5*!!! Beware! Prices are unreasonably high. The $23.00 bill for simple J Crew sweater with no embellishments or even buttons was charged an up charge because it was cashmere. The same sweater was cleaned properly in Atlanta for less than half this price. I will not return.

This company is very unprofessional and dishonest. I dropped two dresses off for alteration on Monday, September 30 and was told that they would be finished within a week. Upon checking the tracker multiple times following the expected due date, which on the tracker says October 7, the status was pending. I called on Friday, October 11 inquiring about my order. They said they had to wait for the alterations lady to arrive at 9:30am. They called me back seven minutes later to tell me that my order actually was ready and that I could pick it up. Then about 20 minutes later they updated the system to send me a notification that the order was ready for pickup. They refused to give me a discount for the delay, even though on the ticket that comes with the completed items, it says that the order was finished on 10/7. They even claimed that it takes two weeks for the items to be completed. They straight lied to my face and did not update the system to let me know my order was ready on 10/7. I have screenshots to prove everything, see attached. I’m giving two stars because the alterations turned out as expected but overall, I would not recommend using this company at all. Less

Be aware of their exaggerated pricing here. I took in a pair of bedsheets and 4 pillow cases , to wash and press. I was told, on dropoff, that it would cost $40 (which is NOT cheap!). They took my credit card; when items were delivered it turned out the charge was $116.00! They rejected my appeal. I won't be returning here.

I brought my favorite lightweight cashmere sweater to be cleaned. It was folded on a hanger with plastic cover. I stupidly did not check it right then and there. When I went to wear it a month later I discovered multiple small holes. A good honest cleaner would have taken responsibility instead of hiding it and hoping for the best. They deserve no stars.

My family has been using them for many years and we have been loyal.I have recently been disappointed with some of the quality of the work.I also find the pricing has gotten to a point that I will now need to look for other options. They have a friendly staff, but it can not overcome the higher prices. Spartan should consider a loyalty program for their long-term clients.

gave 5 designer scarves for dry cleaning which they charged me $20/scarf. When I picked them up they were still stained. They told me because they were "old" stains they wouldn't come out yet they still charged me $20 per scarf. Never once did they ask if they were old stains to begin with. I took them to Tim & Deb's and they came out clean. They charged me $7/scarf. Lesson learned.

We have been clients of Spartan Dry Cleaners for several years. But, in the past year the service has been terrible. I've had to send shirts, pants etc. back on several occasions. I only continued to use them because they were so close to the house. I picked up an order on Christmas Eve and did not realize how much they had charged until after the holidays. One simple white tablecloth without monogram, lace etc. was $71.00. It was a very inexpensive tablecloth - from Pottery Barn and I don't even think I paid $71.00 for it. It was not stained. In the same order I was charged $32.05 for 5 white napkins - again plain white, no stains =$6.41 each. The order also included a black sweater - it came back with black and white dog hair on it - we don't have a black and white dog. I was charged for a "cashmere sweater" - it wasn't cashmere and I was almost $17.00. I was already bringing items to Tim & Debs on Belvedere . . . they are very friendly, reasonable and do great work - and no dog hair. Less

This dry cleaners accomplished what other dry cleaners couldn't. They got the ink stain off my expensive tracksuit. And they got it done quicker than was estimated, for a great price.

They lied about the price. I was told it will not cost MORE THAN $30 and ended up paying more than $30. When I called the manager Victoria kept telling me that it was an average price they give. She also said she wasn’t there but was trying to tell me what I was told. Makes no sense. Other than that it was okay.

Prices are OUTRAGEOUS! $17.50 for a 2 piece airline pilot's uniform. $6.65 for one tie. They don't use starch on shirts which is a joke. If you work hard for your money don't go to this dry cleaner.

Spartan has been my launderer of choice since moving to the South End 5 years ago. Next-day service, easy drop-off tagged bag system, and proactive repairs on missing buttons are a few of the features that stand out to me. The associates recognize me and some of my requests for various clothing articles, and never fail to exceed expectations.

The place is terrible! Don't go there, they'll ruin your item, that's what happened to me and it was a pain to deal with them.

They do lousy cleaning, the dress they supposedly cleaned was ripped. The Mar refused to give a refund. The scarf had spots left on it. They had to do it twice. They absolutely are incompetant. People should stay away from that place. As I was there other people also had complaints. I just don't believe the fake positive bogs . Good advise: stay away. I know I will.
