After going through 2 flaky mortgage advisors (1 even ghosted us) via estate agents, my wife discovered Alex from Mortgage Chain on Youtube. Unlike the first advisor we dealt with, Alex didn't give up on us after the first bank didn't come up with the offer we needed. In the end he got us a fantastic mortgage deal with the lowest interest rate we could have hoped for given the current economy. Alex and his team have been super-awesome all the way, keeping in touch with us at every step. I used Mortgage Chain ("MC") to support me with a Remortgage (incl. repayment of equity loan) and Alex and team did a really good job. It was my first remortgage so Alex helped answer a lot of queries (very promptly) and concerns along the way. MC also have a great portal which helped with supply of documents and correspondence. Only small area for improvement is MC could have been a little more proactive in explain the full process (e.g. at what point Equity Loan forms could be submitted to Target), that said I did throw a lot of queries their way as I was learning loads too! I'd happily recommend MC.

We came across Alex's videos on Youtube - amazing content, full of tips and tricks that you should follow if you are a first time buyer and don't know where to start. We decided to trust him with our first house and we don't regret it. He and his team helped us with everything from start to finish and we got our mortgage! I don’t really know where to start but I’ll go back to when I stumbled across one of Alex’s videos on YouTube. I’d had a bad time several years ago which left me with not the best credit rating to say the least. Yet here was someone, saying they could help someone like me get a mortgage, so I thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t expecting to much at first but after an initial call and chat he told me I was in with a chance and a few weeks later here I was with an AIP. I found a lovely property and the mortgage was in place. There were definitely a few dramas along the way (none done to mortgage chain) but just to have someone like Alex to fight your corner is worth it’s weight in gold, to many to mention, but for example if I wanted some information off the solicitor he’d fob me off with some jargon. A quick e-mail to Alex and all of a sudden the solicitor would miraculously have all the answers. There’s so much more I could put here but I want to keep it brief and say I just can’t recommend this company enough, this isn’t a sales pitch I am genuinely so thankful I came across them. The process I went through was not an easy one, but at no point did I ever think that Mortgage Chain Ltd were not pulling their weight or were slacking off.
