I started going to Phoenix Fitness in Nesconset because I needed something close to home. I have learned the convenience and structure in my work out is what I need from a gym, and Phoenix seemed to check those boxes. I was very pleasantly surprised that this gym does that, and more. I’ve been working with Steve for 2 years and have followed him to the new studio. I love the new place. It promotes a true one to one experience with minimal distractions. Steve creates workouts that are individualized and designed to challenge me each session. I do like the variety of equipment and that the studio is clean and inviting when you walk in.

I have been training with Gary on and off for 2 years (because I was in school) and consistently since August. The changes I have seen in my body are outstanding, results will come if you take time to do the work. Not only am I getting the body I want but Gary has helped me grow my confidence tremendously. Gary will push you so you accomplish all your goals, everything I thought I was not able to do I have been able to with Gary’s help and support. I have overcome a impingement of my supraspinatus (this holds my humerus in place and keeps my upper arm stable) all with Gary’s help. When this injury happened Gary has done everything to help me and now I can move it without any pain. We are still working on it but I’ve never felt better.
