Threw my best friend a 40th birthday party on Saturday night and I couldn’t been more happy of the turn out. Very nice staff, amazing people who work at the bar and kitchen, and the atmosphere was fun. I would 100% do it all over again!

Come here if you reserve a lane on your 10 yr Olds birthday, get there at 430- wait in the parking lot until 5. Just for you to be the first ones to walk in just to say all 12 lanes are taken & there won't be a spot open until 8pm. This is the type of thing that small business can't let happen, such a shame. This place clearly needs to get they're "you know what" together

I recently organized a field trip for the senior center I work at, and Lou was very helpful discussing the options. The party was a big hit! The pizzas were excellent and everyone had a great time. The price for parties is very reasonable and the staff is very accommodating.

We’re really enjoyed cosmic bowling. I was $40 for the hour and included shoes. We also got in 3 games. You do have to do your own scoring.

Hadn't gone bowling for quite some time, I was surprised they charged by the hour now instead of by the string. $40/hr covered the lane and shoes for the 3 of us. Went a couple of weekends. It seems a popular place for kids' birthday parties, so I had to wait a short while for a lane to open up.

Sean the cook is a lifesaver and a wonderful chef comes out and makes sure we like our meals and saves the day at the end of a fun night 😊 and all the awesome bartenders who make delicious cocktails 🍹

Excellent candle pin bowling alley, great for kids who are just learning to bowl. Instructors and owners are great, patient, experienced and very helpful teaching the next generation of bowlers and keeping candle pin alive!

I love bowling there. Very warm feeling.

Pros: Good rates, good fun. Cons: Definitely an "old school" vibe if you like that sort of thing. They do not have automatic scoring, so you have to manually enter it into the machine yourself. I might come again, but I wouldn't bring my kids. Many of the '90s music videos playing were not appropriate for children.

This place has changed greatly! I will say, it used to be dirty and raggedy. But I'm so glad to see that has been solved. This place is affordable, the staff is very friendly, and it's fun for everyone!

Pretty much one of the last places around here to do some candlepin bowling. Fairly good pricing for lanes if you can go there during certain time frames, but overall still cheaper than the higher end places. It is an older looking bowling alley and it's not perfect, but it seems that the owner takes pride in the place and is trying to improve it.

I live in Abington and this is the closet bowling alley so I was pretty disappointed that they were unable to accommodate me. They even recalled me calling that morning. It’s 2022. You can drink beer and bowl what's not to love. My kid loves it and the pizza is pretty decent. Small arcade for the kids will bleed you dry stick to Air Hockey.

Can't wait to play here in a couple of weeks.I grew up in Whitman in the 80's and won tournaments and league championships at Timber Lanes. I now live in New Jersey were there is no candlepin bowling and haven't been home since 2005.Ready for a great nostalgic day.

Fun time at this alley with my husband and son. This was our first time bowling candlepin and we had such a good time. I like that the scoreboard is manual, the music is family oriented, and the food is yummy. We will definitely return!!!

Old school bowling alley. Very cheap if you go with a group since you can split the price per hour or hour and a half. Shoes are included in the price! You manually have to reset the pins everytime with a push of a button. Also, have to keep count of how many pins you knock to input them into the computer. Clean and sanitized bowling balls were put out for our lane.

Very fun. The place since I last went there go new arcade games. And the bowling was very fun. I like that they change the balls after each group of people as well. Great place.

I was actually at Luci's inside timer lanes. The bartender Francesca was amazing! The pizza was out of this world! Met the owner as he was checking to make sure everything was good. He was super nice. Would highly recommend trying this place

Out dated but PERFECT. Kids should have the experience of counting & score keeping themselves... Clean. Covid friendly... And the updated & remodeled pub is nice... Large selection of drinks for a small place... We enjoyed...

FYI ALL: Timber Lanes re-opened the beginning of August with a newly renovated restuarant!! Current hours are mon-thurs 5pm-10pm and fri-sun 12pm-10pm. Senior hours are mon-wed 9am-noon. Hours are subject to change in the future. Come check us out!

Outstanding food and drink

I love this bowling alley, but I wanted to wait until I saw the renovated bar before I reviewed it. The alleys are old, but it's more charming than outdated. As far as the new bar goes, it's still small, obviously, but there have been major improvements to the lighting, spacing, and decorum. If you love candlepin bowling, this is a good place to go!

By far my favorite bowling alley even since I was a child. I'm not a fan of bowling with the big balls an neither are my kids. This place has the perfect size balls and the cosmic bowling is the BEST! Squires may be gone but stay tuned something better is coming real soon ;-)
