Group of 8 of us including a baby in a pram are visiting from Perth. Being our first time over here we struggled finding “family friendly” places to eat. Restaurant 1903 staff were quick to accommodate our group 2 out of the 4 nights we were here. Walked in off the street and they were more than happy to push some tables together and make room for us. Highly recommend the chicken tacos, grilled chicken burger and the wagyu beef burger. They even had a veggie burger option. The standard burger and nugget kids meals also great no complaints from us and if we are ever back for dinner in this part of Melbourne would definitely dine again! Haloumi cheese was beyond excellent! We also enjoyed our mains, lamb fillet & pumpkin & sage ravioli. Just that the young service staff seems a little bit clueless at times (eg not giving menu) but I think he might be new. Will definitely return for more next time. Less

Absolutely fantastic place to dine!! A huge shout out to the staff in the Restaurant who were super friendly & so accomadating. Venue was clean & very enjoyable to be in. Happy Hour is between 5pm-7pm which includes great pricing on both food ($10-15) & drink ($5-$12)! Normal pricing for meals after 7pm ranging from approx. $25-$40. Food was exceptional & worth the money. $15 big hot breakfast which includes coffee/tea & juice is a great value. Less

Ate here multiple times while staying at the Great Southern Hotel and would definitely come back. The staff are absolutely lovely and more than happy to recommend their favourite dishes (which are always divine). The food is always delicious, my favourite was the mild chilli chicken (pictured below)! Prices are closer to the $30 mark for one person but that’s just cost of living now. Absolutely recommend! Less
