A Beauty of a golf course & Club. Excellent facilities. If you recon yourself a good putter these greens are soft, extremely responsive, in superb condition & very very fast. Good food, good service, not too expensive either.

Attempted on three occasions to get a membership and no contact or follow up was ever made. Very disappointing admin for a good course

We went to a party held there. We actually played bowls in the afternoon. Some very patient club bowlers were on hand to help us learn and score. There is more to bowling than first meets the eye and I really enjoyed the experience.

Great food nice outdoor seating arrangement perfect for afternoon drinks and management is working hard to make your visit very pleasant

My honest review about Reading is it's a beautiful course and well kept however it's extremely narrow and difficult for new golfers, the staff working in the pro shop and restaurant are respectful but not extremely helpful at certain times, the food is very basic and nothing really special to add but it's not bad. Personally, one of the things that annoyed me about Reading is, if the course is full and you need play with other players (which I don't have a problem with) they will team you up with people with a much lower handicap than you, in other words if your still a beginner you'll end up playing with a much more experienced golfer who knows what he/she is doing, this in my opinion can be discouraging and it could frustrate other players as you will struggle to keep up, this once again in my opinion ruins the golf experience as you are forced to keep up the pace at the cost of you enjoying the game. However, some of the golfers are really nice, and understanding some are not. So, in short, if you're a beginner, rather play an easier course as Reading should not be a first choice to start with, but if you're a seasoned player, Reading is a good choice. Less

Best service from pro shop Very accommodating and friendly. The course speaks for itself, challenging yet not out of reach for a lessexperien ed player. Notable the greenery alongside all fairways and a vibrant club house for your 19th hole check in!

Reading Country Club has a great atmosphere and excellent food at affordable prices. I especially enjoy the live music.

Had to go and write the Moonstone regulating exams there. Wow the conference hall we had to write in had no air-conditioning so you have to sweet it out there for 3 hours, the tables and chairs came from Noah's Ark very low class unprofessional setting!

This is a beautiful, short course. Greens are kept really well and the halfway house food was good. A bit pricey, but not too bad. Would gladly play here again in the future.

I was here recently for a work event, and was very excited to see the establishment in great condition and very well looked after. The fairways and greens are stunning, and facilities are clean. Restaurant and bar are comfortable and has a great view of the course.

I was there at a company function. Everything was to standard, the staff was eager to assist

Degraded to dealing with a website for bookings. So much so that the IT department called me to sort out the problem. You will loose clients like this.

We had a company function on Friday and requested 2 vegan meals. Wow!!! Apparently this was the first time that the chef made the dish but the food was exquisite. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but a huge thank you to the awesome chef and management.

Stunning golf course tucked against the N12, hard to find better greens than this in Gauteng and in fact the country, at Reading they run true. Go check it out especially the tee markers

Still one of the best courses in the south. Greens fairways and bunkers in perfect condition.

Great course. Greens are well looked after and reasonably priced. The course itself has a bit of everything, with challenging holes being interspersed with easier ones. Highly recommend hitting this course. The weekends get very busy so perhaps try a round during the week.
