Came in and mostly everything was closed since it was in the city's "offseason", mini golf was still open and had a good bit of fun on a nicely designed outdoor course full of lots of trolls, axes and fun facts about Viking age scandinavia.

This was a fun, challenging mini golf course with some holes that were set up differently than what you usually see at most places. Also, the Viking theme was carried out consistently throughout the entire course, including signs with historic information and others with cute warnings about the trolls.

Last year we purchased the 2 hour ticket and my son loved it. This year we purchased the 4 hour ticket. And he still did not want to leave he was having so much fun.

For 11 (+2 for unlimited thru 5pm), you can't beat the price. Located next to "boardwalk" with ice cream, hand cut fries and Dunkin. Course was in decent shape, some holes challenging which requires straight putting skills, not to many bank shots. Decorative too and not too gaudy.
We went with our toddler and she had a great time. It's perfect for a day away from the beach but still a ton of fun in the sun. She even loved the tube slide, we used the 2 person inner tube.

Thought it was fairly kid friendly and fun for my children. They should have more inner tubes to go on the lazy river and more doubles for the slide. I saw someone posted about it not being a multi-race facility. I thought it was fine, there were a number of different races there with great interaction on my end.

absolutely horrible service i walked in and they drop kicked my toddler(who knows how to sing her abcs) down a water slide. manager cody proceeded to tell me that i couldn’t bring my swordfish shaped phone case into the water park because it was a “public danger”

One can be done on a single or double tube. Right across the parking lot is a mini boardwalk with good food and burgers. Plenty of outdoor seating. We didn't try the mini golf, bit we did the go carts. That was fun, even if on a small track. They offer single and double seaters so you can bring the little one out for a race. Go kart track is the shortest I've seen by half. The attendants did nothing to stop a boy who literally ran my daughter into a wall (she came to a full stop) in order to pass her and then rammed me 5 times, despite there being a "no bumping" rule. Attendants were looking at their phones most of the time, but they did see him ram more than once and did nothing.

Loved the water park. If you want a small water park that has fun stuff for everybody this is the place. Its not a big flashy place that you have to worry about keeping track of your kids this is it. My family & I had a fun time playing this mini golf course last night. It was our first time here, course was very well kept & golf equipment was like new. Staff was friendly and pricing was reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Thunder lagoon water park has become a family favorite. Clean and well run! Look for their day 2 coupon, but you must buy your first visit and second visit at the same time. Any child 42" and taller (we had a five year old at that height) must pay full price; however, they loved being able to ride the BIG slides! You can pack your lunch and eat at one of their many, umbrellad tables.
I really enjoyed the 18 hole course and it was good for the entire family. A little pricey but I guess that’s the way things are now.

My children were extremely upset so I politely spoke with Clair and explained all the children were enjoying the park and she was extremely rude and told me the children were making “noises” and “yelling” while riding the slides. Evidently, Clair was offended by my inquiry and spoke to Cody, who I assume was the manager. Cody, with much disrespect, proceeded to walk up to my husband and I, in front of all 5 children, telling us that children are not allowed to make noises on the slides. I calmly tried to explain they are children and that they are just trying to have fun - I also mentioned one child we brought had never been on a water slide before. He was extremely ignorant and unprofessional - again in front of the children. One of the lifeguards, I wish I had asked her name, apologize to us and mentioned the children weren’t out of line and just having fun - as they should. Next time, we will go back to Jolly Rodgers, where kids can enjoy being kids! Less

The go karts are good, and the golf is good. The problem is that the go karts are extremely overpriced. The go karts are 7$/3 rounds currently. I'm pretty sure it raises 1 or 2 dollars per year. The ice cream is not good, I remembered once it gave me diarrhea. The viking snack bar is okay, I haven't had any problems with it, yet. ㅤ
I really liked the mini golf course.
My whole family ended up covered in bug bites from tiny red bugs that were all over the lounge furniture. The bathrooms were filthy and there was a female lifeguard who had a chip on her shoulder and was very rude.

Amazing course with so much fun stuff. We just did mini golf but the holes were creative and fun. The employee, Cody, was absolutely amazing and the reason for five stars- not only was he incredibly customer service focused, he even recommended breweries and restaurants for the rest of our trip. This park was perfect in every way for us. Small, under crowded, and definitely family friendly. We spent two days at four hours each here. The slides are cool but I definitely do not recommend the body slide if your a larger person like myself. My back hurt for a solid hour after from the seams in the slide. The kids befriended a pool attendant named Tim who was super friendly, outgoing, and it was a pleasure to watch him interact with them! I’ve nicknamed him “The Great Tim” and the kids (still) will not shut up about him and are expecting to see him next year. The guy even helped me find my lost wallet. If there is some sort or program in which the company rewards good employees, invests in them for lifeguard training or other local programs, he is assuredly the best candidate you have working there. We went to the boardwalk area. The ice cream was fantastic and so were the tenders and fries. We rode the go karts shortly before we left and if there’s any doubt about the carts holding 300 lbs, put that to rest. Held my own and finished first place. The mini golf course has a fun theme and each hole has a unique feature that makes it fun. It's a lot more fun than many of the less inspired mini golf courses. The holes are a fun challenge without being too hard for the little ones. The go karts are a lot of fun to and are the right amount of quick. We will be returning in future vacations.

The go-karts were really fun, ice cream was good, but two arcade machines were broken. The motorcycle one wouldn't turn, and the race car ones steering wheel was disconnected from the actual electronics that connected it to the game. The trolls were a interesting addition too, but that one mushroom with eyes still haunts me. (Didn't do mini golf, and didn't do the water park)

Wonderful mini golf, terrific fries and ice cream, fun go karts, and terrific people. We had been to some of the other amusements around OC, and found the mini golf in particular to be uninspired and run down. Not so here. Just had a delightful afternoon, and on of the hottest days of or vacation. Totally recommend it.
The kids enjoyed the four hours we were here at the water park. There's an extension of the boardwalk nearby where you can grab a bite to eat or a coffee. Our time was spent at the water park only but the golf course and go cart track looks fun. Getting here at the opening is probably a smart move to avoid the crowd later in the day.

Nice park but the staff pick and choose who the rules apply to. They wouldn’t let my daughter down the white kids slide but let children smaller than her go down. My daughter left crying. We understand the rules, but the rules need to be universal to all. Not sure if we will be going back.

I am picky about water places and children, and felt the park was excellent. Many staff and yes, they did blow their whistles often at kids breaking rules (running, jumping in as opposed to using ladder, etc)-. For 2 hours, you pay $22 and that’s more than enough time. Any age child would enjoy playing here as their are many different slides for all ages. Some areas are less than 1 foot deep too for toddlers. The staff seemed happy IMO too. These weren’t grumpy teenagers that have a summer job as I saw several lifeguards were past 50. As far as the go karts, the staff was awesome and friendly. We had never drove them and they were helpful and not condescending. $7 for 3 minutes is pretty steep.Hershey’s Ice cream was good, but Kohr brothers across the street is better. Less
This was a clean, family friendly mini golf course. Our little guys were first timers but caught on quickly and had a blast! There are 18 holes with viking themes and information signs along the way. There are benches through out and amole space if you have to wait for the group ahead of you. The course has a restroom, a snack stand and an arcade.

Located in a corner & adjacent to go-cart tract, so you WILL be breathing in some cart & car smokes which has caused my crew discomfort & coughing while playing.

Mini golf with the kid during Spring Break. It was not to crowded so no wait on any of the holes. Unfortunately the discount coupon was still for 2020 and the new coupons were not out yet so $10/person.

Friendly staff with reasonable prices. We were able to ride Go-Karts despite the current pandemic. It was nice seeing staff wearing face masks/coverings. It was nicer to see the staff sanitize the go-karts after we got off of them!! I only wish the track was a bit larger, or that you could have a bit more time (basically 3 minutes for $6 on a pretty short track).

Fun for adults and not so difficult that children can't enjoy the experience too. It's a must do every Summer. For the 2020 season they are sanitizing the golf clubs and golf balls when each player is done. We liked that!

This is a great water park because it's cheaper than all than others, less crowded, and you can get a 2 hour pass which is perfect and just enough time. Good for younger kids, maybe not teenagers. Lazy river, 2 big slides, and 2 smaller pools with littler slides for the young ones. Love it.
I went here with my family and saw the one track available. It was a very small track, suitable for young kids to enjoy and get acquainted with go karts. We left and headed south for other go kart places providing tracks that offer more fun on multiple tracks.

Great place for the younger kids! It's small and has a lazy river, two big slides for the older kids, and a nice wading pool. Staff is friendly with lots of life guards. You can bring in your own snacks or there is a nice snack shop and ice cream across the parking lot.

Great place to go and have fun in the water before or after the beach. Food is right there so you don't have to drive away and possibly lose your parking spot. Only issue is when you leave and traffic can get busy, not the water parks fault.

The best mini golf place I've been to yet. The landscaping was really neat, the obstacles were challenging yet doable, and it was kid friendly. Would definitely recommend going here. We will definitely be playing another round there.

They charged me for my 8 year old as an adult because he is tall. Come on that's crazy he is only 8. They only care about money and not even anything else. Tried to talk to them and was treated as if I was a joke. I will never spend my money there again. Then the next kid was taller than our kid and they only charged them the kid price. What a joke will never be back.

Pretty great minigolf experience. The gocarts are pretty good, and the golf itself is ok but a little lacking in the theming department, which is the coolest part of many golf areas around this. Pretty good place though, if not outshined by other attractions around. One suggestion: add dinosaurs, the super evolution of chickens!

We played the mini golf course and loved it. The holes are challenging and fun with creative obstacles and built in scenery with a theme. It was fun to play amid the trolls, dragons and water. There is nice shade on several holes and we enjoyed a nice ocean breeze while playing.

Fun for all ages and kids had lots of fun on water slides
Nice new course and good ice cream. The course has changed and is less Viking-esque but still fun to play and one of my families favorites

Awesome water park, put put golf is good, and go karts are nice. There is food and a nice gift shop. It's a goo place for a day on vacation. We are local and always stop here for some golf or the water park. The pizza is good too. And so is the ice cream!
It's a little pricy, but the Go-Karts are such a good time!

Nor worth the money!!! Only 2 water slides for adults or bigger kids. Need upgraded !!!Bathrooms were filthy!!! It should not be 25 dollars for 4 hours may be 10 .
One of the worst experience we had in this vacation. The guy who is supposed to help kids in the go-karts was literally yelling at them for no reason. We planned to go to mini-gold after go-kart but after this worst and humiliated experience we decided we will never spend a penny at this place.
You guys this waterpark is awesome but you all should try jungle jims in delaware
This water park was terrible it only had lazy river and a one foot pool .The pool was not even clean and did not see them test the water after 4 hours . There was also sand every were . the go carts are bad .The golf is ok .You should not go
Quiet. Not too busy and laid back. Staff was great. Great for young kids.

Best mini golf course in OC in my families opinion. The course was fun and challenging. They had gocarts, food and ice cream.

You really should make sure your hours are correct. I Google the time and you are advertised to be open until 12. I drove this far and was Pissed to see that it was closed!!! And not to mention a very disappointed honor roll student! Never again. You lost a customer. And I love the ice cream there smh
I love coming here every year, but the one thing that I dislike is the pricing for the Thunder Lagoon Waterpark. I think it is too expensive for what you get to do, but this is just my opinion.

It's always open late and the course is well maintained. The prices are fair and there are snack shacks that stay open until midnight as well. We play here every year and it's a fun course to play
I have tried to contact the owners but they do not respond. We went to Thunder Lagoon Waterpark with 2 children,2 parents and 2 grandparents. One of the grandparents is handicapped and could do nothing but sit there. They were very rude and insisted on charging for that person anyway. What were we supposed to do? Has a small water park, go kart, and ice cream shop, as well as a mini golf course. Its a clean facility and quite quaint
My rating is only for the Thunder Lagoon- maybe I'm stingy, but I feel like the pricing is horrible in relation to what is offered/what you get. It's OK as far as quality, but the pricing is definitely geared toward tourist/vacationers.. Maybe if they offered 1/2 off for 1 hour, instead of the minimum 2 hour time limit..?
This place is so much fun !!!! Love the new water slides !!!!! Totally a fun place to go for 2 or 4 hours !!!!!! The price is not that bad either !!!!!! Great place to go in the summer !!!!
Always open even after a day of thunderstorms. It was nice to find a place that knows after the storms pass, people will venture out!
The staff is rude. No excuse for staff's behavior. I have been here many times and sadly will not go again after this years experience.
This place is amazing! So much fun for a fair price. The little ones loved it. We brought along our 3, 5 and 7 year old kids. Plenty to do for all ages. Apparently they install brand new slide this year. The kids loved them. The wife enjoyed the lazy river the most. We went to eat and play miniature golf at Viking Golf after spending a couple of hours at the water park. Perfect day!
Small facility appropriately priced. 2 large slides, 3 kiddie slides, a lazy river, and a kiddie pool with giant water dumping feature.
We love coming to Thunder Lagoon. The water park is small, and it's a great place to go for two hours. It's perfect for kids 10 and under. My kids are 9 and 6 and feel comfortable riding every slide there. We spend a lot of time on the lazy river. It is very family oriented and the parking is free too!
Lots of fun, we go every year. 2 hours at water park followed by lunch,popcorn and mini golf or gocarts.
We took 4 boys ages 2 thru 8, and everyone loved it. It is not cheap, but worth the price of admission. One of the best things we did at the beach this week.
