I had an EXCELLENT experience at MVM Academy last night. I am in town for a few days for a wedding and had been arranging a visit while I was in Camrose with Professor Ryan for months. From the moment I walked in he treated my like a part of his team. The class was amazing. He is very detailed while teaching each technique and takes the time to make sure each student is able to follow along. I was impressed how easily the students were able to pick up pretty advanced concepts. The class ended with 30 minutes of light-ish rolling which was fun, and I even had a chance to roll with the Professor. What was even more amazing was that Professor Ryan took some time to listen to me while I picked his brain about some of the things I was working on in my individual game and definitely gave me pointers that will help me improve my game as I try to improve as a brown belt.
