Then a work associate suggested I call Ed Gilroy. Ed personally returned my call within 12 hours. He was at my house to measure and provide an estimate the next day, and i had a price to provide to my insurance company 24 hours later. In early May the crew of 9 roofers arrived. They protected the exterior of my house, stripped off my old roof, installed new wood sheathing to bring my house up to current Building Code, and installed my new roof in one day, doing a thoroughly detailed cleaning of my entire property prior to leaving. Their cleanup was superior to many other roofing projects by other companies in my neighborhood, where some debris was overlooked and left behind. Our roof looks great and we've received many compliments on it. One unfortunate event was the cost increase due to material shortages and inflation from Dec. 2021 to May of 2022. Ed forwarded the detailed revised estimate required by my insurance company for price adjustment, and shortly thereafter i received the additional compensation, making the process almost stress- free. These people are careless and extremely rude. I would not hire them for anything. They also ran over and destroyed all of the bushes and gardens in our complex. They threw trash everywhere and they do not complete work in a timely manner. I wouldn’t recommend these people to my worse enemy.
