My husband and I were visiting SLC and needed a gym to do the Open workout. We called Kent and he and Corey were super flexible and accommodating. Corey was great and helped us set up all the equipment, and super patient as we warmed up. Great facilities, with all the equipment you need.

I've been coming to this box for nearly 6 years, and very likely the oldest member (65). Can't recommend it highly enough. I've been in injury recovery for about 6 months, and have found the relaxed and friendly atmosphere very helpful.

I love this gym! The coaches are knowledgeable and make the workouts doable for anyone at any fitness level. The atmosphere is laid back and makes me want to work out every day! For 35 years I have loathed exercise and could not find a routine to stick with. All it took was one Crossfit class and I was hooked. In four months I have seen incredible changes in my physique and in my attitude toward fitness. If I can do Crossfit, anyone can!

Great community! The people are very friendly and encouraging. Coach Derrick, is what makes this gym run. He's very knowledgeable, friendly and knows how to scale any workout to your specific needs. I personally have improved leaps and bounds since he has come on board. Thanks for having such a great coach to train with.

Crossfit EMC has the perfect workout culture for me. I love crossfit, but I am not looking to do competitions. I want a challenging workout that pushes my limits with a coach that is there to make sure I am performing each movement in the safest way possible. This is exactly what I get at EMC. Don't get me wrong, I have had fun and success at other crossfit boxes, but this is a smaller community and there seem to be more people with similar goals to mine than some of the bigger boxes. If you do want to compete, this would be a good box as well because of the small class size- you can get a little more help from the coach per class. Overall, I am extremely happy that I found this gym and look forward to the workouts!

Even though I can only come occasionally, the coaches and other crossfitters always welcome me home and act like I never left. That's really what gives me the motivation to come back. They even put up with me in my whiny early days when I was trying to convince myself that I could learn to like lifting, and you know what? Because of them, I really have. I'm definitely not hardcore like some of them, but even with my pretty average abilities they make me feel so much a part of EMC that I feel like I can truly call myself a crossfitter now.
