I have been working out at Best Self: Health & Fitness for about three months now. Prior to joining, going to gyms always felt intimidating to me. Before going to Best Self, I found myself clinging to cardio machines like the elliptical or treadmill because I was too afraid or nervous to pick up weights or look "stupid" because I was just beginning and learning. From the moment I participated in a class at Best Self, I was hooked. Jonathan is so passionate about fostering a community of learners, and he makes everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. It is truly a safe space, where I feel confident to try new things and step outside of my comfort zone. Jonathan has done an exceptional job of cultivating a community where everyone feels respected, valued, and heard. Everyone is encouraged to have fun, while also working towards obtaining the goals that we have for ourselves. He also has a plethora of knowledge that he is always more than willing to share, and he goes above and beyond for his clients. His dedication, enthusiasm, and positivity radiate throughout the gym. He is phenomenal at what he does, and I feel beyond lucky to have found this new "home," where my stress fades away, and I am able to work towards becoming my best self, surrounded by warmhearted people who have a love for nurturing all areas of ourselves: whether it be physically, emotionally, socially, mentally, etc.
