I just trusted my friend's recommendations and thought they were the best in their work and price, however at least ultimately the price is too high compared to their competitors and I really hope that at least the parts supplied their technician will last for a while, although I'm not sure, we were given a one-year warranty on the parts replaced. And during a conversation with their representative and expressing my dissatisfaction over the phone next day, she simply regretted that I was unhappy but promised to recheck and call me back, since she didn't work couple days and didn't have proper information, but still haven't heard any call from her. I definitely won’t use their services going forward and will not recommend them to anyone. I know that to this review their representative will most likely respond that you agreed with the proposed price, yes, I agreed and confirmed the completion of this work only because of the recommendations that were given earlier, I trusted you and didn't think that I would be charged twice more. Moreover, there is a simple idea of customer support for further business continuation. My advise, regardless of how the services were recommended, take the quote, especially maintenance/repair cost and compare with other companies as well, don't agree in rush with offered price, technicians sometimes exaggerate about furnace condition and parts. They did duct cleaning in July 22. I trusted them and didn't check that vents are actually cleaned or not. just look at this vent. its how I found it. Edit 1. Answer to your reply. The worst!!!! Cold air vent in basement was missing a cap, when they used pressurized air to clean, the mess went all over basement and they never cleaned it up. also shavings of aluminum left all over the floor where my kids play .

If you think it is a liability to do just what a customer is paying for, then issue a waiver of that liability and let the customer decide if they want more service or not and free your self from any liabilities. Don't just go ahead doing more and sending a huge bill

No where in the fine print did it say only within Calgary or even Okotoks for that matter. The technician went back to the office and the staff confirmed they wouldn't accept it. I have contacted Groupon and they have been attempting to reach them in relation to this and they are not responding. This is completely unprofessional and appalling on business standards. If they don't accept outside of Calgary for the Groupon it should state as such and secondly, the staff shouldn't have told us that we would just pay mileage for the rural location. The two technicians that arrived were knowledgeable, friendly, hard working and efficient. All in all the service took just over an hour. My experience from Just in Time Furnace is top notch from installation to maintenance. I would recommend them for any furnace and AC needs. My first experience with them was duct cleaning, furnace tune-up and AC maintenance back in 2019. The staff that worked on my house were professional, thorough and friendly. Based on my initial experience with them, I decided to move forward and got them to install a new Napoleon furnace in Oct 2021. Glenn came over and looked at my HVAC set-up and recommended the appropriate BTUs and blower size based on the size of my house. He didn't upsell me on items that were not needed. I had a few other quotes from other reputable HVAC shops and they were very cookie-cutter and tried to upsell items like a new humidifier, thermostat, etc. which weren't really needed. On top of that, Just in Time Furnace pricing was very competitive than the other shops. Mike and Adam did the install of the new furnace. They were very experienced in doing the install and completed it within 5 hours. They walked me through what they did for the install, which made me very confident that it was done well. They also did not leave a mess and the install was quite tidy. They gave me recommendations where to place the humidifier monitor to ensure the whole house is getting the right amount of moisture. There were issues with the humidifier but it got eventually fixed with no questions asked. The person that came by to fix the humidifier (I forgot his name), came by a couple times to get the humidifier working. I had to buy a new part for it and it worked fine. He even suggest to not connect it to the NEST thermostat because it may not work properly. I had some issues with vibrations of the furnace during start-up after a couple of months since the furnace parts started to settle. I had Chas (one of their senior guys..20 yrs of experience if I am not mistaken) come out a few times trying to diagnose and fix the issue. With his "know-how" and due diligence he was able to fix the vibration. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to chat with. He walked me through what he did and left it open to me to call the office again if the issue comes back. Justin (the owner) and Trisha (front-office staff) were great to talk to. They never questioned the issues I had and made sure they promptly scheduled time to have someone look at my furnace issues. If I do I have another issue, I am sure they will be address my concerns and not shrug it off. I call that great customer service! I look forward in calling them for my annual maintenance on my furnace, AC and duct cleaning. As I said at the beginning of this review, I would highly recommend using Just in Time Furnace. Less

Blower on my furnace died at noon on a Sunday. Called and dispatcher warned me that the 1 guy working was busy but told me not to worry and he will be there that same day. Rates are transparent and fair. Luigi was professional, clean and had heat blowing before 8pm. Highly recommend!

Used these guys 5 years ago to fix my hot water tank. They did a good job for a reasonable price so when the same thing happened I gave them a call. 2 hours later they called back and we arranged for a time later in the day when I would be home. 2 hours later while I'm on my way home they called me and said they couldn't make it today. At the end of May we purchased a Groupon for Just In Time (JIT) Furnace to clean our rental unit’s furnace and air ducts. I thought this was a pretty good deal to get the furnace and 10 air ducts cleaned for about $70, so went ahead and bought it. Mid-June I booked an appointment with Just In Time for the end of June since our tenants were moving out at that time. The admin assistance said they have the day of June 30 wide open. Perfect. Our tenants were moving out that day so I picked the 11-1pm timeslot. I received a message from JIT a few days later that they have to reschedule our appointment to 1-3pm. Fine, I’ll just make sure we have someone in the condo during that timeslot instead. The day of I received another call saying that the technician left his worklog at home and they would have to reschedule the visit to a different day. I called back and asked to speak to the owner since this is the second time JIT rescheduled and this time was because the technician left his worklog at home? Justin explained that he had a crew working in the morning, they encountered asbestos so he had to send them home and he didn’t want them to wait around until 1pm for our job so he didn’t have a crew to send. To me, these reasons didn't jive as to why I couldn't get the work done today. After letting him know we needed this job finished today he said he could ask a different crew that could be there in 20 minutes (which would be noon). We already made arrangements with our tenants to be in the place between 1 and 3 to let the technician in. No one was at our condo for noon since the time JIT rebooked was 1-3. I called JIT back to unfortunately reschedule for a different day. The admin staff said they can have someone come on July 2 arrival time between 8-9am. Ok. I thought because JIT rescheduled a few times, good customer service practice would be they would have someone there closer to 8am. The technician showed up at 8:55am. He did call and left a message at 8:30am letting me know he would be there in 20 mins. When he arrived before he started working he explained quite fast that he would be cleaning the furnace, return air vents, ducts. He was professional and went to work. After he was done he gave me the bill and said there were 20 ducts, he cleaned the furnace, etc. Oh, the Groupon voucher said 10 air ducts. He said the 10 are covered but the additional ones are $10/air duct. I called Justin to get this clarified because I thought it was my choice if I wanted to get the additional air ducts done. I also thought they would provide an estimate if there was any extra cost before they started the job. Justin was on the phone so I asked the admin assistant that the technician was there at the moment, he wasn’t able to leave until I spoke with Justin. Justin then came on the phone. I went through what I thought the Groupon deal was and that I distinctly remember the admin staff saying if we have a high efficiency furnace the additional cost would be $47. He said he can vouch for all of his staff because he hears what they are saying to all the customers and all of the staff talked about the additional cost of the air ducts. I wanted to see the Groupon fine print again to see how the additional air ducts part was worded but because the voucher was redeemed I couldn’t get it. I asked Justin to send it to me. He said he would get a screen shot and send it to me (I’m still waiting for it). At this point, emotions were high, voices were raised and as a business owner his job is to de-escalate the situation, not escalate it. A couple things to point out about this interaction with JIT. Understand that if you have 30 vents in your place 10 are covered by the Groupon and you will pay an additional $200 to cover the additional 20 vents. Also, I found Justin, the business owner to be very unprofessional. I hope Justin takes this feedback and improves his business practices and customer service going forward. Less

Though I did not submit a review after I had Just in Time come in back in 2018 to repair our furnace I figured I better say what a positive experience it was. We had gone away for the weekend in a cold spell much like we all are going through currently. Came back to a cool house but didn’t think anything about it until waking up to an internal temp of 9 degrees. Called a couple of companies when googling the internet but appt’s were being booked a few days down the road. I had called Just in Time and they set up an appt for the next day, fixed the little problem and we got heat. So impressed with the quick response and the good job they did. Definitely would recommend Just in Time for any furnace trouble. Just wish they also did plumbing, a new issue has cropped up and I would not hesitate to call them on that. March 16, 2021 Long story short is we were going to use a company to come in to do a furnace tuneup and duct cleaning for certain personal reasons. Waited 4 days for a return phone call confirming an appt day & time which we never received. I called Peter, he called the office, Justin called me and had two appts setup for the next day. Now that is great customer service! Guys came in early for both the duct cleaning and furnace tuneup. Friendly, knowledgeable, took sone time to explain a few things to us, I have no qualms or hesitations recommending Just in Time for any plumbing or furnace needs. Less

They were super nice and the air smells much cleaner but the clean up job wasn't there. They left metal shavings and screws on the ground in the basement and didn't put any of our vents back on. And there was a ton of dust and debris on the floor beside the heat register that my husband had to clean up.

Cant thank Joe and Mark enough. They are the best and the honest professionals that I have seen ever. Joe had the utmost knowledge of the furnace and the air cleaning system. he guided me through the process of keeping the air clean in the house. we have had furnace cleanup before, but never like this. I’ve used this company before and have had a good experience however this time I’m not so happy with it. I purchased a Groupon like I did last time and found the prices have increased dramatically. I don’t make a lot of money and was looking for the cheapest option for the furnace/duct cleaning. When I phoned to make the appointment I ended up going with the general rate that they had minus the Groupon discount thinking I would be saving money. Turns out I ended up paying about $30 more then I would have in all the extra fees. After they left I checked the invoice and they charged me $10.95 per extra vent when it should have been $10. At the second home that was booked a few days later, I was charged double the price for a vent that couldn’t even be completely cleaned because they didn’t send out the right crew that could do the job. The vent at the second home was an added service to duct cleanings, so there was no reason for the double cost on cleaning a dryer vent. After several calls to the company and an email to Justin the manger, he has never returned any of my calls or email. DO NOT BOOK! They will scam you of $$. Less

These have been my go to guys for everything furnace. My furnace went down late Saturday night and I called first thing Sunday and they were there ASAP. Dennis was very professional and explain in detail what wasn’t working and fixed the problem. I was pleasantly surprised with the price considering it was an after hours call. These guys were nothing short of amazing. Professional, kind, courteous, and very polite. They came in to do routine duct cleanings, and let me know of the tune ups that should be done to maintain the furnace. He told us to close a tv stand door so his equipment can get in, once again very aggresively. And then they started there work. Once they were done they showed me the bill and it was higher then expected. I knew I had to pay for the charge since my furnace was HE as well as the additional vents. My price came out to the exact same price as it would have been if i did not get the groupon. I was dubious since the events leading to the payment. When they employees left, my renter also commented on the one employees attitude and his rude behaviour. My renter also noticed that there were fingerprint marks on the walls and on the banister that had to be cleaned once the employees left. In the middle of all this I do want to give a kudos to The other employee. She was very kind a personable. I had just in time come out around October 5th as my furnace wasn’t coming on I phoned the number left a message called back at least 3 times as it stated on there website 24-7 service it was cold that day I had to scramble to get some electric heaters so it wouldn’t get to cold in the house well to my surprise I got a phone call from Justin the next day saying they don’t offer the 24-7 service until the winter time well then maybe they should state that on there website so anyway I had the guy come out and he said the ignitor was shot so he replaced the ignitor and when he was replacing the ignitor he informed me there was a $59.99 dispatch fee which I was not told about it ended up costing me $330.00 and change I told the guy that came out that I wasn’t told about the dispatch fee he told me Justin should of informed me of the charge well just in time have been servicing my furnace for the past 6 years or more I have spent a lot of money with this company I feel ripped off and I will no longer be using there services so if you call them for a service make sure you don’t get a extra charge they neglect to inform you about Less

I wouldn't recommend these guys nor will I be using them again. The ducts were cleaned, however not great. There were dust bunnies in the furnace compartments and the whole home humidifier was filled with dust, dirt, and drywall clumps. They left a couple heat registers off, neglected to cleanup dust and dirt on the floor all around all heat registers, and didn't clean the furnace vents outside. ... More

I wouldn't recommend these guys nor will I be using them again. The ducts were cleaned, however not great. There were dust bunnies in the furnace compartments and the whole home humidifier was filled with dust, dirt, and drywall clumps. They left a couple heat registers off, neglected to cleanup dust and dirt on the floor all around all heat registers, and didn't clean the furnace vents outside. They brought a large hose from the truck through a basement window and in the process broke the window screen and left it on the lawn. One of the main floor vents visible in my unfinished basement was also completely disconnected to the floor box (just an open pipe blowing into the basement), I'm not sure why they even needed to disconnect it, but they certainly never connected it again. After the cleaning and service they said my furnace was in a healthy working order but it's now 3 months later and guess what broke?! Less

Required a furnace igniter in a short period of time and Justin at Just in Time was very helpful and professional in providing what we needed.

Had a malfunctioning furnace serviced. Staff didn’t seem quite knowledgeable and kept contradicting himself several times, word maybe was used a lot. Well “maybe” it’s this maybe it’s that doesn’t sound like a pro to me. Ended up replacing a part that didn’t seem to be needed to be replaced, made problem even worse. Charged a lot!
