Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was my daughters 1st visit. She enjoyed it. She didn't really want to show her teeth but when dentist came she really liked him and opened her mouth for him. She got a unicorn tooth brush and got to pick a toy out of their prize box. It was a great experience.

First time back to the dentist office in about two years 🙃. However, my dentist answered my questions and didn’t make me feel stupid about my lack of knowledge!! The people there were welcoming and nice! And it was very clean! 10/10 would recommend.
This dentist office is quite literally the best place for children to go to! I struggled for over a year with my daughter’s last dentist. Told them over and over she was having pain and they kept telling me there was no reason. Finally Dr. Sarah found the root of the problem and it has been smooth sailing ever since.

My 18 month old grandson and I both went today. They were extremely nice and very patient. The 1st dentist in a long time that didn't make me feel stupid about my teeth. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. They also cared if they hurt me or not. I'm bringing the whole family here. Such a breath of fresh air to have a dentist that I don't dread going to.

I was there with my kids for us all to get cleanings, which were booked 6 months ago and all in a row. The new-to-me hygienist asked if they had to be with me? Couldn’t I leave them in the lobby till it was their turn right after me? Could I have someone come & take the kids until it was their turn? (They were 5 & 3 at the time, so wayyy too little to ask that they be alone.) The new staff manager was introducing herself to everyone while they were over my mouth, the hygienists who were going to do my kids kept changing last minute, and our usual quick cleanings took 3 hours. It was rather disorganized. (Note: my kids do GREAT at the dentist and they got to watch Frozen 1 & 2 on the TV, so the kids weren’t the problem this time.) It’s a sad goodbye, as I really had no problem with the doctors, but it seemed so “off” last time that we’re walking away now. Definitely missed the hygienist we had before who didn’t cause pain, was super sweet and patient, and easily put me & the kids at ease. She didn’t treat them like a problem . I don’t know what’s going on with all the changes but it is definitely not somewhere I’m comfortable going anymore. Wish them all the best though. Less

I only go there due to my association with my Medicare Part B affiliation. Not happy with the constant reminders of my appointment, which they say will no longer be contacting me 3 to 4 times ahead of any future visit. Shawnee Dental was far better before I switched.

Everything was as pleasant as possible for a trip to the dentist.
Went in to get a tooth put back in my top plate of my dentures but all in all, I had a great experience there. All the ladies from the front desk to the Dr., and the assistants were professional, courteous and friendly. I felt comfortable allowing them to do my dental care and procedures. I completely understand this. However, what I don’t understand is why, with this being an appointment that has been scheduled for approximately 6 months, someone didn’t contact me to let me know. They went ahead today and cleaned her teeth, but no X-rays, or doctor exam was done. Again, I understand that they didn’t want to do services for which they wouldn’t be reimbursed. I would just like to have known so that my daughter could have scheduled with another dentist to have a full exam. Less

Took both of my children in for teeth cleaning, the Dr was very nice but one of the older nurses who cleaned my son’s teeth was very rude to me over a personal choice for the kids. She was very unprofessional in her words. Other than the experience with her, everyone was very kind.

We had a great experience at this dentist. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Really went the extra mile. We were visiting from out of town and they squeezed my daughter in for a cleaning at short notice, as well as spent nearly our whole visit making sure they billed our out of state insurance correctly. Do not go here! I made an emergency appointment explaining before I showed up about my fear of the dentist and the extreme amount of pain I was in. After asking twice if I was willing to pay for Nitris and me agreeing, they still didn't provide it. The assistants were very helpful and considering with the amount of pain I was in. I explained how I couldn't even touch my tooth with my tongue because of the pain it caused. The dentist said he could not see any infection and needed to inspect my teeth. He checked all my top teeth except the one that was giving me issues. Before he even touched it, I told him that was the tooth with the issue. He then proceeded to grab my tooth and yank back and forth. Which obviously caused me an excruciating amount of pain. At this point I made him stop. He leaves and says they are going to give me shot of novacain. Which was never provided. After telling me it will be $980 today or nothing, I leave with a prescription for antibiotics, not a full round though. Only 7 days worth and when I called and said it seemed to be working but I needed a refill, the dentist refused. This dentist is the reason people are scared of the dentist. He needs to be reminded of his Hypocratic oath! Less

I verbalized on more than one occasion that I would like to complain but didn't know the process but was never given an answer and they hurried up to end the conversation or change the subject. Highly recommend! I went in to get my 6 month cleaning, Jessica was my hygienist and was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable! I needed to have a filling done and they were able to get it done in the same day! The quickest, most painless filling I’ve ever had done!

I had a filling that needed to be redone because the first one didn’t seal correctly. They fixed the filling for free, including x-rays to make sure this one was placed correctly. The staff is always friendly, kind, and very pleasant.
Fantastic dentist services! One of the few dentists in the area that will accept soonercare. They were able to clean and fix a cavity all in the same day without a follow up appointment for both of my kids. Great, friendly staff, and the wait for an appointment didn’t take us months.

This was my first visit to Shawnee Dentistry. It was a great experience from scheduling the appointment till the time I left after my appointment. The office staff were friendly. The hygienist that took x-rays and cleaned my teeth was friendly, professional, and efficient. Dr. Israelsen was the best and is now my dentist of choice. Saw a new dentist from this practice today. Same great service. They did everything they could to minimize what needed to be done when a very old crown came off. They managed to save the crown, saved me money and for the first time in YEARS, I was comfortable enough to not use the NOS!! 🙌🏻 They have built that trust. Dr Monica and her team worked amazing with my children. I was able to get all 4 of them in on the same day. They were even able to look at my 1 yr olds teeth! The hygienists are highly skilled at working with children! Nothing seem scary to my children and they were excited to share the new things they learned about oral hygiene.
Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Loren, Dr. Morgan, and Connie were excellent. The women at the front desk were just as great. Everyone that I have dealt with was easy to work with and informative.

If you need dentures because yours just don’t fit right, THIS is the place to go. Very friendly and professional staff. I got a new set of dentures made. Top ones fit perfect without any denture créme. Bottom need some, which is natural but I only had to go back once for refitting. They fit perfect!!!!

I wish I had the great experiences that everyone else seems to have had. I started going here right before it was sold and changed to Shawnee Dentistry and braces. And the staff kept changing, they weren't keeping me informed about all those changes either. I met about 4 different dentists in a short time span. When you expect and request to get certain hygienists and it's a new person every time thereafter, it's rather frustrating. Maybe send out something saying "hey we have changed owners and therefore you may see new faces" because once you are comfortable with certain people, maybe you don't want that surprise. It's been a while since this all went down but it just snowballed. The last time I was only in the chair for 30 minutes and I feel like she was just trying to rush because I was her last patient. She also didn't do a good job of flossing (missing areas) or cleaning and relying too much on the sonic tool which can really take a toll after a while. The dentist didn't even care to check me out, and when you have gum disease you kinda want to know how that's going. Shall I mention the time they mailed me someone else's bill? I cried thinking I still owed them so much money until I realized it was someone else's name. Tsk, that person probably would not have wanted me to know what they had done. Needless to say I've switched to another place and it's so much better. The people actually seem to care. Side note: the music was awful here also. Just uncomfortable all around. Less

I didn't have the greatest experience here this past time. The dentist is great, but whoever he sent in to give me my numbing shot did a horrible job. It hurt when she did it and after it wore off the pain was horrible. The morning after where she gave me the shot is red and swollen and still hurts, probably going to be looking elsewhere for a new dentist after this.

Needed really bad wisdom teeth pulled and they were able to get me in same day! Every body was so nice and understanding of my anxiety, and they made me feel very comfortable while I was there.
Had to pay for a free cleaning. My dental insurance allows for two free cleanings a year. Gave them both my dental insurance numbers, BEFORE going to the appointment. After cleaning, insurance filed, claim was not fully covered because they were not preferred provider. Didn't learn this until after claim was denied. Should have been told up front.

I’m always nervous going to the dentist. My teeth are sensitive and even a cleaning usually has me white-knuckle gripping the chair armrest. The hygienist and the dentist (Dr. Rand Alzubi) were both great and made my experience bearable. They took the time to ask me about and address my dental health concerns. I will definitely be returning for my second cleaning this year.

I had my upper teeth removed and new dentures all within one hour, the staff was very professional the atmosphere was comfortable and I would recommend this dentistry to anyone within the shawnee and pott county area.

Dec 21, 2022. I love this dental clinic! I had a tooth that was giving me trouble; yet, had no obvious cracks. Dr. Wandro kept at it until she found the crack that was the culprit. I am now the proud owner of two new crowns. 😬😁😎 Oct 2020. Good experience. There’s no beating Connie, my hygienist. Dr. Israelsen maintains a competent staff.

I saw a dentist in this building for over 20 years, however when Sr. Retired, I started going to a new location and a new dentist. New ownership in this location brought with it young and current dentists, as well as upgrades to all of the equipment and technology. I am so glad I came back to give it another try! Shawnee Dentistry is my dentist from this point forward.

My anxiousness was quickly elapsed when I was greeted with a warm smile from the friendly staff upon check-in. There was little wait time before I was called in for my cleaning and x-ray with the hygienist. Dr. Alzubi thoroughly explained to me any issues she observed. She was attentive and answered all my questions and concerns about my teeth, as well as any potential procedures. I was due back for two fillings in my teeth. I am not one to be fearful of oral shots, but if I was, I would have been extremely calm due to Dr. Alzubi’s methodical approach for painlessly administering anesthetics. Have been a patient of Dr Stobbe Sr for many years before he retired. Then I saw the younger dr stobbe once and then he retired. My last visit was the second day that the new dr was in. Dr. Israelsen was very friendly and caring. I hate shots but the one he gave me was the best shot I ever had. No pain or discomfort. I wasn't sure about seeing the new guy, but glad I did. I'll be back .
