My husband and I can never thank Acts of Kindness enough for helping make our dream of becoming parents a reality! I contacted them based on a recommendation in a facebook group, and I'm SO glad that I did! I really liked that all you have to do is create a free account, and you are given access to their database of available embryos (many agencies require payment up front). There is also a package that includes a transfer at their wonderful partner clinic, Arbor Fertility, which is what we chose. We are an older couple, so we didn't have the luxury of time. Everything moved extremely quickly! We matched with embryos two months after I initially reached out. We had our first transfer four months after that, which was successful, and we welcomed our beautiful daughter!The staff member that I mainly interacted with with Shalistar, who is the kindest, sweetest person! She was super supportive, and so helpful as my husband and I navigated embryo donation. We spoke via phone and text many times, and I still text her updates!If you are considering embryo donation to build your family, I highly recommend contacting Acts of Kindness!

We worked closely with Jayme at AOK and couldn't be happier with our outcome. Jayme was very responsive to all our questions and concerns. She was also very patient with us and kind as we worked to make our final decision.Once we selected our donor embryos the process was quick and straight forward. Act of Kindness has been there for me when others were not willing or able to. The ladies at AOK held my hand through the whole process, jumped through many hoops due to the many legal challenges in my state, and they have the biggest database with all the adoption option. Im still currently a prospective adoptive parent, and I love the system set up so far on AOK’s website! I called with Shalistar, and absolutely loved the amount of education, help, and support that way offered! It was like having an instant best friend to talk to and learn from. Even if we don’t end up matching on AOK, we will definitely stay in touch. All the information was so helpful! I definitely recommend AOK to anyone who is looking into embryo adoption.

I want to tell my story acts of kindness and Jayme and Shalistar have been an amazing support to me! Some know my story some don’t. I am 45 years I don’t have any living children I have angels but none living all early miscarriages. I am single by choice after surviving domestic violence in marriage. I never thought I would get a chance to try to be a mom ivf was unattainable to me as I would need a double donor on top of the cost of ivf and I went into early menopause so virtually no eggs to speak of. I started doing fruitless research for years trying to see if any options were out there for someone like me. About a year ago I joined an embryo adoption group not knowing how to navigate this at all and Someone in the group had mentioned to me about Acts of Kindness and through them I met Jayme Bass in February I adopted an embryo and transferred this month after a lot of help from her and Arbor Fertility helping me get everything I needed together to do the transfer a lot of prayers were involved good people like Jayme and Shalistar are the reason I have had the chance to try not once but twice family that was gracious enough to donate their remaining embryo. The ladies at Acts of Kindness truly care about both intended parents and parents who donate, they have prayed with me, talked to me, checked on my and made sure I never felt alone or lost hope even when I couldn’t see the light when I was not even sure the first time I’d be able to transfer after I adopted. They have truly become like family to me, Dr. Zarek at Arbor Fertility has too. These ladies truly care about families and people and it don’t stop once the adoption is done they are there with there patients every step of the way. I wanted to share my story and tell everyone a little bit about Acts of Kindness Embryo adoption and donation to share the kindness and hope will others struggling. Acts of Kindness has touched the hearts of everyone they come in contact with they truly are a blessing there is not just my testimony either their whole website is filled with testimony from patients and families on both sides of the fence IP and parents donating embryos. I can’t say enough about this ladies. If anyone has not talked to them and is looking to adopt or donate you should you can go on their site and inquiry they responded to me the first time and answered all my questions and it was a weekend and of the evening they don’t stop just because it’s not business hours. AOK has been, by far, the best embryo adoption agency to work with (and we have worked with several others). Shalistar and Jayme are incredible staff members and clearly dedicated to this organization’s mission. You will never feel like you are bothering them throughout this process no matter how many times you reach out- they make themselves so easily available via text/email/calls.
