Flight training is an extremely expensive and time consuming endeavor and without the Cory's dedication to instructing, I am sure it would have been a different experience. I cannot recommend him enough. Speaking on terms of the flight school itself. They had plenty of availability of C172s. Even though the planes are not loaded (avionics) as other flight schools, they are maintained efficiently with dedicated AMEs. I rarely had a time where I couldn't go flying due to airplane availability which is something rare in this industry. However, I am not sure if this will last as all planes are currently up for sale. The biggest thing I would recommend is do your research before selecting a flight school in the Okanagan valley. With flight school, (outside of OCs diploma program) it is pay as you go, meaning you are in charge of your timeline and finances. Have a plan before you start, find a instructor like Cory, and keep track of your spending on each lesson. Less

Beware!!. I’ve been asking for my PTR since June 14th I’ve not received any responses a PTR that was given to me was an incomplete PTR. I had to reach out to a former employee pay their gas money to get them to go and retrieve the PTR, which was incorrect. They kept my completed PTR. It was not sent into transport Canada as they claim. MICHEAL‘s assistant Melinda called in August asking me for $1000 deposit to hold my spot For flight training at that time.I politely declined and asked for my PTR back. I’ve reached out to several previous employees and all of them have nothing good to say the common theme they seem to share is Micheal keeps deposits/PTRS And no communication, other than generic generated messages. I did some flight training with this school. They closed up shop disappeared office locked. Nobody answers phone calls. They kept my PTR/lost them . I’ve been dealing with Melinda since June and I still don’t have my PTR i’ve been calling since June 14. Nobody will answer or return phone calls. The instructor in Edmonton. Nick is very unhelpful as well. All I get is automated responses.

My husband was scammed by this academy. He gave them a chunk of money to do his lessons and then the place in Chilliwack shut down and he was never refunded, after many attempts. Do not recommend. Mike is a scammer. We are a young family with 2 kids and he had no problem taking 10k from us…

This school took me on when a lot of other school were booked up. The trainers and staff were helpful and friendly. they have lots of aircraft that are well maintained! Also, flying in the valley you learn a lot, and it’s beautiful. ***great flight training club *** Got my ppl at this place in June / July and it was a good experience

They did not refund our money , over $9 thousand dollars , after not providing instructors or planes. They sold us on buying a lot of flight hours -at a reduced rate- that they could not fulfill because they had no instructors or the planes were not serviced and ready - then they closed the Chilliwack location down. All of the instructors and staff are great! Steve has done most of my instruction and he is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. I have also flown with Felix, Grant and Brooke and they are all awesome. The new maintenance department is also great, we used them for our last annual and were very happy with the service. I would recommend Aurora to anyone.

Aurora is a great flight school. My primary instructor, Aaron, has been great to work with and incredibly accommodating around my schedule. All other instructor's I have interacted with have been great as well. Sylvan, the manager of the show appears to have built a school that cares deeply about ensuring their students succeed.

I'm learning to fly planes with Kim at Aurora Aviation. I couldn't give a bad review if I tried. She is awesome, very clear and professional, but keeps it fun. Love it!!

Had a awesome time. Kim was great showing us all around. Would go again for a flight.
