I started my CrossFit journey only a month ago, but I already feel like it’s something that will stay with me for much longer. Joining Hexis was one of the best decisions I could have made 😊From the very beginning I felt welcome here. The coaches are amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the people truly make this place special. Even thoughI’m just a beginner, I’ve received so much support and encouragement! :) It really helps you push through your limits and keep coming back.Hexis has a way of making you get addicted to training very quickly. It’s not just a place to work out – it feels like a real community. I’m really happy I joined and I’m excited to keep going. After my local CrossFit box closed in Chesterfield. I didn’t want my CrossFit Journey to end. I booked in for a trial at CrossFit Hexis. My travelling time would go from 5 mins to 20 mins. CrossFit Hexis is worth every single traffic light, traffic, more diesel in the tank.This place delivers and over exceeds what usual CrossFit box’s offer. From day one I have never looked back. The gym space, coaches, members, the WODS perfection! 👌🏼The behind the scene admin is amazing, monthly newsletters, live videos providing information, monthly committed club stickers. I have been going to Hexis a number of years. It is no exaggeration to say, that Hexis and the people within have helped me through two major life changing events. The fitness that Hexis helped me develope was instrumental in saving my life during a massive heart attack in November 2021. 18 months later i was diagnosed with cancer, on both occasions the fitness i had developed through CrossFit helped my recovery and the support i received from the people (family) there, undoubtedly had a massive positive impact on my recovery. Paul and Sarah were on both occasions amazing in their support and encouragement. Paul always keeping a crafty eye on me making sure i was ok. Since then i have competed again, i have gained my Level 1 and have the privilege to coach there when i am home. If you want to go somewhere that gets you fit, makes you feel good about yourself, gives you the best welcome and is like a second family, join Hexis you will never regret it.

First time I came to CrossFix Hexis was during “bring a friend day” and I was instantly hooked. I’d never done any weightlifting before and felt really terrified but coaches made everything feel approachable. Three months in, I’m finally starting to understand it and actually enjoy it! The community is incredibly welcoming. Even when I feel clueless, everyone is encouraging and helpful. It also feels very social and uplifting to be there. I leave every class feeling energised, and I definitely feel the work the next day!The workouts are different every time and never boring!! I’d recommend CrossFix Hexis to anyone who wants a healthy dose of movement, confidence, and community. I’d give it 10/5 if I could!And a special mention to Paul: he sets the tone for the whole place. Supportive, motivating, and always paying attention to everyone in the class! I’d never done anything like CrossFit before, so I was honestly so nervous walking into Hexis for the first time (I cannot express the nerves). I even messaged them beforehand because I had no idea what to do or expect but everyone was super nice and made me feel comfortable from the get go.The environment at Hexis is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced in a gym. Everyone — from the coaches to the members — are so encouraging, welcoming, and positive. The support and community make such a huge difference, especially when you’re new to this kind of training.Even tho I was a bag of nerves when I first came in, I’m so glad I overcame it and I will never look back now!
