The second thing is one of workers made a hole in the gas pipe going into the chimney and I got charged for it. I think that was not fair at all. One of the man said that the pipe was not done properly when they installed it and that is why I have to pay the $360.00. I was told that they will clean the attic when the workers get done, but they did not clean it. I was also told that they will be covering the pool cover, but it was never done. When we settled the bill, the gentleman, did give me half of the money I was charged for the damage the worker did. I am happy with the roof, it looks good, but I think we got on a bumpy start. Less

They even said that they wanted to make sure they got it done as soon as they could because it was going to rain soon. A few storms later and we have no leaks and a beautiful new roof. Marc peeled back some shingles to show me the rusted nails, indicative of water that led to the leak into my home! We discussed the option of a roof replacement rather than a repair to avoid continued problems. I chose the repair and as a result of the 2016 contractor's sloppy work, sure enough, with the next rain, an additional area was leaking . Reitzel's crew completed the jobs efficiently, and I found both Marc and Courtney responsive and available to discuss the jobs. In the 40 years I have lived in my 1950 house, I can't count the number of poorly managed jobs that I have paid for and contractors who do shoddy work. Fingers crossed that no further repairs will be needed but in the event that I have future problems, I will call Marc Reitzel to complete the job. I attempted my own repair which failed, and I also took notice of the wear on the shingles especially underneath were pine needles have accumulated. I did some online research for roofers and selected Reitzel based on their reputation. The work performed exceeded expectations - primarily out of speed, secondarily out of quality. Speed being key as a leaky roof will only lead to water damage and making a repair more costly. I was expecting months for materials to come available, instead, the were ready to go after 2 weeks from contract. The estimated 3-5 days to complete. It took a day and half. I was told the roofing crew was a cohesive and skilled group of men. They showed up at 7:30 the first day and were busy by 7:33! Granted they did work until sundown in the August heat, the work ethic and dedication to detail and quality I would characterize as unique and seldom seen in the present economy. Far exceeding my expectations. The price tag was what I expected from the research I did ahead of time. Having it warranted to withstand 135mph winds for a lifetime also exceeded my expectations. Customer service was excellent. I got a call back immediately from the initial service request and they kept in touch all the way through the job making sure I was satisfied. Work done correct it seems but person overseeing was rude. Gave higher than expected estimates on future repairs so won't probably be using them.

These guys will over price you for your roof but their siding and gutter services are pretty good.

Told him that I would be there in 15 minutes. When we called to make the appointment we informed them that the house was under contract and that we would be closing within about 2 weeks. I first met Marc Reitzel while I was out for a walk and he and his crew were replacing a roof down the street from me. I stopped to ask him for a card and also asked him some questions related to leaking inside my home, outside drainage and roofing issues. Marc not only took time to answer me but came quickly to do a free estimate. My jobs were done in two phases.They replaced my gutters and fixed a front overhang window. A couple of days later we had a rainstorm and inside my home was leaking again. We had a prediction of more severe storms and I was concerned. I called Marc and he came out, took that huge ladder off his truck and climbed up and checked every possible way it would be leaking. He did some caulking on the brick on the front of my house, which was not even in our contract and it hasn't leaked since. He made a point of getting here to repair before the heaviest rains hit. I will always be thankful to him for that caring attitude and business ethic. I told him then that I would be replacing the roof in the spring and as soon as I could, I called him to set it up. He came out on time, when he said he would. The crew was scheduled within the week. They had to reschedule one day because of snow but the foreman called early to let me know that. They came the very next day and did an excellent job on my new roof. I've had many contractors since moving to the east coast, but never gave any a contract when they didn't do what they said they would do. Marc and his crew were very timely, respectful and thorough.
