Ship Shape has installed both a retractable awning and a retractable screen on two different occasions.Installation was in extremely capable hands of their employees who did a great job both times.I would recommend the company to anyone interested in an awning or retractable screen.I was so impressed that I had a 3rd additional remote/stationary screen installed.Now I'm in the process of a 4th order with the company and am awaiting installation.

Ship Shape AwningsI had an awning installed September 2024. This year it was making loud cracking noises both on opening and closing. My original vendor (Sullivan) retired and recommended Ship Shape. The office staff was very pleasant and was able to quickly make an appointment with a service person (Jerry Rivera) to assess and service the issue. I was informed and accepted there would be a service charge for the visit by the office staff. The day BEFORE the appointment I received an invoice for $161.25. Once Mr Rivera arrived he was here less than 1/2 hour, tightened 4 bolts, declared ‘it was all he could do’. The problem still persists. Prior to departure he said he would check with the manufacturer as to a fix for the problem. Surprise, NOT, I haven’t heard a thing! As he was getting ready to leave he asked me if I was aware there was a service charge to which I said yes. He then asked me what I was going to do about it, insinuating he wanted payment then. I told him I would pay online, which I did. I found Mr. Rivera’s service unhelpful and his attitude brash.UPDATE: A short time after posting the above review I was contacted by Nick Carson who was concerned about the service I received. He asked to come to assess the situation “and make it right”. He couldn’t have been nicer. He came and made great strides at correcting the problem. Offered to return in the Spring and reassess the situation. It’s good to see a company take reviews into consideration and do their best to make things right. Initially I gave 1 ⭐️ but after Nick’s service back to ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Thanks !!

I love these shades/screens. They are barely noticeable when down and keep the bugs away. Great service. Easy communication. Highly recommended

This company really shows customer service. From the start Ship Shape Screening expressed how important communicating and keeping you informed of your appointment. Before Carlos showed up he called to notify he was on his way. Carlos gave a more than fair estimate, he was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable (he made me understand the vision). I committed to this company, because of the way they communicated, their professional employees and pricing. Donald showed up for measurements, you could tell he was going to give you the best looking product. I was so surprise when they were ready to install in a week. It came out amazing!!! I would highly recommend this company.

I had to get the awning stops reset on my Sunset awning and the Ship Shape tech was able to come to my house within an hour and a half after my phone call, unexpectedly fast service, he had to adjust the extend/retract limits on my awning and 15 minutes later the work was completed and my Awning was working as good as new. I highly recommend Ship Shape retractable screens and awning for all of your awning and screening needs, they provided very fast and friendly service.
