Been on my radar for a while, first time Ive dropped by and super glad I did. My ice mocha was delicious, best cafe on the street imo. Barista was super kind and quick. The food all looks great too, have to stop by again sometime soon!

We went on a Sunday evening just for a snack and some coffee. The owners were very nice and the food was simple but good.

I was just there for a political campaign event. The staff were gracious and patient with service given how crazy busy it was. My bagel with cream cheese was delicious, as was the banana bread served along with the other provided treats for the event. The coffee was very tasty too. In the last few months, The Grand Cafe recently introduced all made from scratch baked goods with a bit of Mediterranean flair. While their menu is not extensive, it doesn’t need to be as everything they do, is just right. One visit is sure to be followed by many more. The music played is usually light Jazz and is kept at a background volume so one can have a decent conversation. The food is great. We are partial to the Pizza Margherita with the fresh basil but our new favorite is the Veggie Calzone. Did we mention that they have a wood fired oven? And the coffee is not complete without a cookie or two from their display. They also make their own croissants and have some gluten free options. Tonight I stopped in for a pizza for dinner. It was quite busy as there was a festival happening on the street. I didn't mind waiting as I'm pretty understanding however when I was next in line, the cashier's kept glancing around and talking to each other but we're not attempting to take my order and I was about 2 feet away from the counter because I wanted to give some space until they called me up. I waited for about 2 minutes when they finally said, "are you also waiting for a hot chocolate?" I said no, I'm waiting for my order to be taken(meanwhile there is a long line up behind me so I don't understand how they could have thought that I was just waiting for a hot chocolate when I was standing in line like everyone else). They took my order, I ordered a cheese pizza or a "Margarita", they said it'll be a few minutes. 15 minutes pass by and I noticed that two separate customers who arrived after me got their pizzas first so I went up to the counter and I had let them know that I was still waiting for my pizza which they had not even started yet. I understand how busy the restaurant was tonight however that isn't an excuse to not do their jobs. We waited about 5 to 10 more minutes and the pizza was finally done they brought it to me which I appreciate however I'm going to admit that the pizza was not worth $15. I want to add that I am a pretty polite person and even if my pizza was late I still use manners and a polite tone because of course there is no reason for me to be directly rude towards them. So unfortunately I do not think I will be eating here again in the future. Less

Stopped in to have a coffee, I didn't realize that they had wood fired pizza . The pizza did look great I ended up having an expresso with a shot of chocolate and it was a wonderful treat. I would definitely return to have the coffee. Nice atmosphere right on a 124th street

Amazing coffee!

The food was good, except after half the sandwich it tasted a little too salty. I am sensitive to saltier tastes though so maybe thats more of a me thing. The decor was nice & the staff were friendly.

I was quite surprised to see the owner walking around the cafe maskless. I won’t be ever going to this anti-mask cafe ever again. Also, the latte and the London Fog were very disappointing. The milk to espresso ratio was off.

I had an appointment near The Grand Cafe, and as I was walking past it on my way to my car to head home, I decided to stop inside to pick up a sandwich for take out. I ordered the grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, and it was SO good! The staff are so kind, and you can tell they take pride in every order they fill. One of the better places to just sit and have a light snack and drink, or take home a pizza for later. Local, convenient and always fresh. Italian soda and bagel is lush. Just relax and enjoy on the outside patio.

Had a mocha from here today. Really nice coffee and the owner gave me a pastry that was scrumptious. One of the better coffees I’ve had in Edmonton and the other desserts looked amazing. I will be back again.

I'm making a stop at the Grand Cafe & Bistro part of my routine. Friendly, relaxed and the food and coffee always top notch.

The machine looks nice, but the coffee is burnt and I couldn't drink it. It's pretty clear that quality and consistency have taken a back burner to appearance. Save your time and go to Transcend.

Great coffee and interesting pizzas, including hummus pizza. They will also sell fresh made hummus and tsitsiki you can take home!

10/10 great sandwiches, awesome coffee. My gf got an iced London fog was the best she ever had. We will bring everyone here. This is my favorite cafe.

I truly enjoy coming to the grand cafe, it's a gem with fantastic (real) coffee, really great pizza, a welcoming atmosphere and the staff and owner truly make the place shine and come alive, I most definitely recommend coming here if you have not already.

What a very cute cafe, the atmosphere is very calm and warm. The apple pie was very delicious. The staff were super friendly. Wish there was a place like this where i live.

This place is amazing. I've never had a food item from there that wasn't delicious. I love their London Fogs. The man who owns the place is so kind and so friendly. Highly recommend!

I tried the cafe last week when I passed by. I always wanted to try since they opened last year. I bought their pasta salad and took it home and ate it for supper. It was delicious!! I was given generous amount in a take out container. I would definitely go back there again.
