We used Units moving and portable storage for a long distance move. Kris, the local customer service representative at the Manassas warehouse, was extremely responsive and helpful. The Units, which were 8‘ x 8‘ x 16‘ containers, were immaculate when we received them for loading. Their delivery system is fascinating and their driver was highly skilled, placing our unit exactly where we wanted it. These units are not “dropped“, they are handled gingerly using robotics. We had each unit delivered one at a time, loading it through a combination of loading ourselves and hiring a local moving company. After each one was picked up it was stored in their climate controlled warehouse until they were all ready to be shipped long distance. Kris was recommended by our realtor, and I highly recommend her and Units moving and portable storage. Less

Firstly, the staff who dropped off and picked up our storage units were magnificent! They were prompt, professional and efficient. They were a great bunch of fellows. Even waved and said hi to my kids in the windows. Their storage units are super clean and sturdy. But the crowning jewel is Kris in the main office. She is a gem through and through. We had issues with moving and Kris put us at ease. She made things that were chaotic a bit calmer. She checked in on me too, knowing I was juggling this all on my own. Kris (sales) was very easy to work with. When I contacted her, she was responsive by text, email and phone. When I set up the initial delivery, Edwin (delivery) was extremely polite and professional. I was marveled by the way he navigated the UNIT up my long and very narrow driveway and was able to place it exactly where I wanted it prior to construction. He also put wood blocks underneath (b/c it sat on my yard) so that during the winter and rainy months the UNIT stayed level and wouldn't sink into the earth. After the remodel was complete, again, quick and prompt communication with Kris and Edwin came and picked it up without issue and was on his way. I had the unit for about 10 months and no issue whatsoever. Again, when Kris said a robot places the UNIT, she meant it and they were able to do what competitors were not (in a very tight space). This place is devine!! We had a big group for a work event/ business dinner. The food is outstanding - the owner and chef personally checked on us and went above and beyond with hospitality. This place was recommended by a friend and as we understood it, the location moved from the airport a little while back. I cannot thank Kris at UNITS Manassas enough! Not only was I in immediate need of on-site storage after deaths in my family necessitated my basement used as storage, but then we had a flood. Her first question was "What can I do to help you, let's talk about your needs right now, to lessen your stress." WOW! A 15 min. conversation ensued as she went through options with me as well as prices, sizes, etc. What REALLY blew me over the top however was her checking in with me via call or txt to see how we were progressing along. Then, I "broke" my knee. Once again Kris showed a level of empathy and compassion you rarely experience in a corporate business such as this. Toys for Tots sent a storage unit to my house to collect the toys that were donated by my neighbors and friends. They delivered the unit right where it was needed without me having to be on site.
