Really great cabinets, owner was helpful to get them delivered and installed in the best way possible.

At this point we are just aiming for a refund as he said he would do if they are unable to fulfil the order but nobody is getting back to us at all. Please beware! Display Cabinets Direct/Print on Demand Ltd/ Everblocks UK and whatever other business name Joseph Plosky may be behind is in breach of contract and proving to be a rogue trader. After a very shaky and not entirely professional experience buying a cabinet from this company last year, I reluctantly returned to them for another against my better judgment as, frustratingly, I needed it to match the first aesthetically. More fool me. On the 26th of February I placed an order for the second display cabinet and paid in full to the tune of £2373. I initially dealt with Steve Love and was given a lead time of 8-10 weeks (although later checked the small print on the invoice and saw it was actually 14-16 weeks for cabinets with customisation, which was not relayed to me upon ordering.) Towards the end of this period I checked in with Steve Love but received no reply to my emails. After some chasing I finally managed to get through to the company on the phone and was informed that Steve had left the company but it seems that nobody was picking the customer emails that he had been dealing with. Shortly afterwards I was informed that the cabinet was ready but that it was a completely different size to what I had ordered. This mirrored my first experience with Display Cabinets Direct in which there were endless delays due to my cabinet being made incorrectly initially (apparently these are coming from an overseas factory and not made by Display Cabinets Direct.) As I had measured up for a specific space, the cabinet would no longer be of any use to me and I had lost patience after the saga I had last year so decided to cancel it. The cancellation was agreed upon on the phone and I expected to receive a prompt refund. It is now over well over four months since I ordered the second cabinet and Display Cabinets Direct are now in breach of their contract. It is now over a month since a refund was agreed and nothing has arrived. Joseph Plosky has been doing everything in his power to dodge my calls. The calls go through to a third party messaging center who are understandably unable to be of any assistance other than passing on my messages. Eventually my husband tried leaving a message posing as a new customer and , of course, received a call back from Joseph Plosky within 15 minutes of leaving a message!! I reported the matter to my bank’s fraud team and Trading Standards. Upon my bank raising this issue, Mr Plosky emailed me on the 10th July to say a refund would be processed by his accountant and that I would receive it in 2-4 working days. To date (20th July) nothing has been received so I will continue pursuing the matter with my bank as fraud. Please beware, this has been a frustrating and upsetting experience and I don’t want anyone else to fall foul of this apparent rogue trader. Should there be any changes I shall update this review. Edit: Today, on the 22nd July I finally received my refund via my bank. I also received an apology email from Mr Plosky that read quite humbly so I appreciate that. I hope very much that they will put measures in place to ensure this series of fiascos never happens to another customer. Less

Excellent experience with Display Cabinets Direct, great product. We ordered 9 cabinets for a project displaying museum artefacts across the city of Carlisle in 2023. The project was a citywide trail with objects in unusual places (cafes, independent shops, heritage buildings, museums, castle, the cathedral, etc) where many of these artefacts had been discovered (some quite sensitive from Roman to fairly modern). Display Cabinets Direct were able to both manufacture the cabinets in the UK and deliver them to site on time as the timescales were very tight for the project. The cabinets have ever since toured venues around the district and been loaned out to support community exhibitions, and have been a great asset to support our work. Currently 6 of them are in Cumbria's Museum of Military Life for a temporary exhibition. Joseph and the team with Display Cabinets Direct were great to work with, easy to talk to, and made a very good product. Would use them again. Thank you! Less

Ordered 2 cabinets and Joe has been our contact throughout. We were very specific about the dates we needed them. These arrived earlier than anticipated which was great. Customer service was amazing.
