I was missing most of my upper lip pigment from a childhood Illness and now you would never know. And the best part is it didn’t hurt! I recently came to them in need of help with melama that showed up during pregnancy and just never went away. I did the PRX unicorn facials, and WOW!!! They knew exactly what I needed to kick this melasma to the curb! It’s not all the way gone just yet, but it’s almost completely faded and I’m confident with their help it will be gone soon. I was blessed to receive a PCA facial at The Pretty House Studio to help me with the hormonal acne & mascne I have been experiencing this year. It was my first time at the Pretty House & wow, what a treat! Even before walking into the building I could tell how cute the place is—it’s adorable! From start to finish, the experience was blissful. I was able to relax & let the PCA products work magic work on my face. At times the facial was tingly & intense, but that’s how I knew it was working! The extractions were the best part—I could feel that she was really getting in there & removing dirt & build up. Afterwards, my face was not overly red or irritated. I could see a small difference in my face right away & I was able to go to dinner that night without make up. The next day, my skin was a little dry, but it was manageable. On the second day post facial, I did experience some peeling around my chin & nose. This lasted for a couple days after that. Again, though, the peeling was manageable & let me know that I had removed layers of skin from my face! WINNING! I was warned that my face would get worse before it got better, & she was right. I did experience a couple break outs after, but since then, it feels as if my skin is less prone to break outs, & when they do arise, they disappear faster & don’t leave a trace. Unfortunately for me, my face has acne scars on it, which this facial didn’t address. So, there is still work to be done on my face, but at least it appears that my acne/mascne is under control for the time being! I’m looking forward to going back to The Pretty House Studio for help with my acne scars. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was knowledgable, gave me tips for how to take care of my face moving forward, & they use good, strong, & natural products without a ton of harmful chemicals! I would highly recommend getting a treatment from The Pretty House Studio! Less
