Honestly very upset , I always get my eyebrows done here but now for the second time half of my eyebrow was taken right off leaving the two looking completely different. The first time this happened I corrected the lady and she was fine for months but then she did it again! I was in and out of the room in 5 minutes , and my right eyebrow was half gone. I have told the lady many times how I liked my brows but I guess this time again she just totally forgot or didn’t care. While there, I booked my wedding make up, and I was told it would be air-brush, and it would also be $150. I happily booked and noted I would be seeing them soon. I arrived on October 13th for wedding make up. I never received air-brush as I was told *and* as the website clearly notes. I kept waiting, and she never brought out the tools to do so. I couldn’t help but become furious that I was paying $150 for a mall-level make-up session. Then, upon check out I was told my total would be $250. For basic make up (I could have done what was done myself. I booked BECAUSE of the air-brush). The receptionist told me it was because it was a holiday. The holiday was the 14th, and I was there in the 13th. It was a weekend (normal hours of operation, mind you) and the holiday wasn’t upon us yet. Besides, why would you charge holiday hours, the day BEFORE a bank holiday (Columbus Day)? When I asked why I was paying an additional $100, the receptionist told me they emailed me noting this. I went through my entire email, and showed her that I did not receive an email including this information. She told me that maybe they called me and left me a voicemail. I showed her I had no history of a call or voicemail from them. She took off $50, but barely seemed like she cared. I mean, what kind of business does that? To my own fault, I figured that because my lashes help up VERY well, I booked for a fill for my lashes. On the website, it notes that a fill is $45-$70, which was fine... Yet at check out AGAIN I was overcharged, for $80. It’s $10 so it’s not the end-all-be-all, but how can a business be so inconsistent with their pricing? I made another appointment for a fill (for some reason?), and after this set barely lasting, there is no way that I will be keeping it—it’s sad to admit but I’m genuinely looking forward to canceling it and finding a new cosmetologist. It’s upsetting that these interactions have been so underwhelming. It is worth noting I did not work with the cosmetologist that has the glowing reviews seen below (Amrya?) at any time, so perhaps I was just working with someone less experienced. TL;DR: The prices are extremely inconsistent and no one cares to be accountable. The make-up could be done at your local Sephora, so make sure you’re getting the application you’re paying for. The lashes are great about 50% of the time, so great for a one-time event. Staff are hospitable, but not particularly note-worthy. Less

Make Me Fabulous uses the Ouidad curl cutting style and Ouidad products (which smell amazing, like vanilla and lavendar!). The difference in the two are world's apart and although I was pleased with Moisture Salon, I'm over the moon about Make Me Fabulous and my new easy to care for curls and will definitely be back! Alayne was my makeup artist and hairstylist for my wedding day. She did and absolutely amazing job💗 She made me feel so glam and gorgeous on my big day. I got my eyelashes done 2 weeks ago yesterday. Besides the fact that they did not last, I made notice that one side was longer than the other and she said no that wasn't the case. Yet my left eyelashes kept hitting my glasses making it very uncomfortable, but the right side never did that. They were definitely uneven. She was the most expensive I have used to date and absolutely not worth it.

Don't use there online booking. It doesn't work. After you drive 45 minutes to get there they tell you your booking was for something TOTALLY different than what you wanted. Make me Fabulous fix your website to avoid this for other unfortunate people.
