I could not travel in a car for any amount of time without severe pain and pressure in my tailbone and lower back. My sleep was significantly impacted, which affected my overall health and well-being. I tried traditional chiropractic care that did provide some relief, but the symptoms persisted and increased in severity despite treatment. After many X-rays, CAT and MRI scans, weeks of physical therapy, and even one injection, I still suffered. Wanting to avoid invasive surgeries, I turned to Dr. Folkerts at Laser Pain Centers of Illinois - Sherman. Dr. Folkerts conducted an assessment and developed a plan that he believed would provide healing and curb my pain. The staff was extremely friendly and Dr. Folkerts listened closely to everything as I explained the pain I was having and what had been tried up to that point. He recommended laser treatments and adjustments for my back and after just the third treatment, I felt 100% better. After finishing the full course of treatment, I was pain free and able to get back to living a normal life. I still go back every couple of months for routine maintenance and I recommend them to everyone I talk with. Thank you all so much! Less
