We are so thankful to have found Elite, Dr. Hilliard and his staff, and to be given hope when it didn’t seem like there was any to be had. My daughter is a patient in the CLEAR Scoliosis treatment through Elite Chiropractic. After my chiro said he’d search out treatment with CLEAR if it were his kids, we contacted Dr. Hilliard. We don’t live in the area, so we came to Austin for a 2-week intensive program. After that 2 weeks, my daughter went from 47 degrees to 39 degrees. She’s been doing the home exercises faithfully, as well as the wearing a Scolibrace 18-20 hours each day. Here is my story. I had the following pain…sciatic nerve, neck and degenerative disc pain. I was taking care of my daughter who had severe scoliosis and recently had undergone spinal fusion surgery (I wished I would of known about Dr. Hilliard years ago when my daughter was first diagnosed with scoliosis). I have come to find out he is a licensed Scoliosis Specialist.) Anyhow during her post surgery I had injured my back from caring for her. I had gone to my family doctor and received prescription medications to ease all issues. Medication was temporary and as the 1st week passed the pain was only being masked by taking the meds. A coworker of mine asked me if I was ready to be pain free and stop taking meds. I said, “Yes.” He spoke of this miracle chiropractor that healed his back pain issues couple of years ago. I contacted Elite Chiropractic to see Dr. Collin Hilliard and was able to get an appointment to see him that same day. I let him know the pain I had been experiencing and all the medication I was prescribed. He listened and took me in for x-rays on site. Yoga was the only thing I knew of that would help flexibility and prevent the pain that could possibly ensue from the scoliosis. I was not, however, seeking other treatment, nor did I know that there was any treatment other than surgery that could help to actually change for the better the condition of my spine and even decrease the degrees of curvature!
