My house is located in Pell City, Alabama; and has a concrete tile roof. North central Alabama is not an area where concrete tiles exist. Hence, there are no roofers that know anything about them. Through the years the roof has had numerous leaks, and I have hired jackleg roofers in Birmingham, Montgomery, Destin, and Atlanta to repair the numerous leaks. None of these guys had a clue, although claiming they could do the job. Most of them made the problems even worse. This is where Brendan Leach and Douglas Roofing and Construction come into play. I somehow found them on the internet, contacted Brendan and had no expectations, due to past experiences. Man was I wrong. Brendan and this company are true pros. First of all, traveling from the Atlanta area to Pell City was not an issue with this company. They gave me many options from repairing the roof to replacing it with different tile products. We decided to replace the roof, and Brendan guided me through all of the new tile options and was patient with us in the decision-making process, and we eventually decided on replacing the roof with another concrete tile roof. He explained the process from start to finish. A concrete tile roof is a very expensive roof, and these guys treated the job as professionally as any company I have ever dealt with. Brendan understood my frustration with all of the past roofing experiences and gained my trust through his care and treatment of me and my home. He remained on the job til it was finished and treated my home as if it were his own. Most companies just throw the roofers out there with no supervision, so this was very impressive. The crew knew what they were doing, were very friendly, highly skilled and did a fantastic job. They ran across additional issues with a lot of rotten wood decking and rotten trusses, but took care of those problems as well. The guys took their time but completed the job in a timely manner. I now have a great-looking roof with no leaks. I am so grateful to these guys. My roof situation had become very stressful and a real pain. Most contractors or people in a service industry today are terrible communicators, are not reliable and do terrible work. However, these guys do flawless work and are very reliable.
