Emerald Cove is a lovely place, but more importantly, the journey that takes place getting to emerald cave and back is what I find most important and going with a guide that knows the history of the area and takes small groups makes for a very personal experience for all. Very nice tour. Ian gives good information and takes many photos and some videos that you can download the next day. We took the afternoon tour so we could enjoy the quietness (..!!) of nature on the way back. We give him 4 stars because Ian was complaining to get too many 5 star reviews. A snack is provided, but bring your own water. Otherwise you have to buy a plastic bottle in the gift shop. Less

We had a wonderful morning kayaking the Emerald Caves with Ian. He was an excellent guide. He was extremely kind with all of us and very knowledgeable of the area.
