After turning 30 I was done with the conventional gym and all the peacocking, I wanted something more. My first experience at Radix was Boxing with Dan, which I would highly recommend, Dan is an excellent coach, thanks to Dan I have a pretty mean punch. After several boxing lessons I noticed the cross-fit classes and was intrigued. Looking physically good was no longer a priority for me, I wanted to be strong and I wanted to connect and be around people who wanted the same thing. Not only did I get that at Radix but I also became part of a great supportive community. My first day of cross-fit the coach did a fun icebreaker to introduce me and some new members to the team, we all had a good laugh and felt welcomed. The trainers are very knowledgeable and are keen to address proper posture and technique. As for the members, they watched out for each other, always encouraging, followed by high fives, fist pumps and good laughs at the end of the session. I have been with Radix for a year and if you are looking for a place where you can push yourself, powerlift, have fun and never be concerned about how wrecked you look after each workout, this is the place for you!
