While the Aquatraction looks good and feels great to walk on, the maintenance is much more difficult than expected. I have the light grey on dark grey and it shows dirt just from stepping on it and it takes significant scrubbing with a stiff brush to get simple foot prints removed. Ended up with some excess glue cleanup after installation, but nothing to significant. We have several panels that are misaligned and believe that they should have 2 people to properly position and set the panels. Our Sea Hunt came with deck material on the console foot rests and that material is a breeze to clean. I have a couple of stains and the material is not as stain resistant as marketed. Less

We love our floors. Game changer and well worth the expense. Not only is it beautiful, it’s so nice on the feet as we are generally barefooted. And it cleans up with soap and water, even road smudges from shoes. Very impressed with how well it cleans. Regarding cost, the All Water Customs team were able to provide a quote just from photos and they gave me a boat show discount. Even still the final price was less than quoted. That doesn’t happen often. As it turned out there was one minor mis-cut around a stantion that was over looked during the proofing process but the folks at AWC made it right without hassle. I even suggested leaving it but they insisted on making it right and they did. We are 100% satisfied with our floors. The only negative to the experience was the communication. In hind sight I can now see that the process takes a considerable amount of time given the business model. That coupled with this being, what I think, is a side gig for the owner, communication is very slow. I’m a guy that likes to know what’s going on. I can deal with the truth and I can tell when I’m getting the run around. Had the owner been more responsive and direct with me, I would have enjoyed the process more. I thought the process was very efficient and timely for all the steps that were involved. They developed an excellent design for my 2003 Seapro SV2300 CC which utilized teak plank and outline designs in other areas. I’m 65 years old and I now feel much safer on my boat. Great experience from start to finish. I was a little hesitant at first because of having to create a template. But after speaking with Andy at All Water Customs I decided to give it a go. He suggested the needed supplies I would need and how to lay the template and trace the areas. Once completed I sent the templates to him for digitization and then for my final approval. Within a week or so after my approval, I had my pads. Once again, I spoke with Andy and he walked me through the application process. It was much easier than I had anticipated. The experience with all water customs is great from start to finish! I first learned of aqua traction at the All water customs booth at the Miami boat show. Right off the bat Andrew and Susan were extremely helpful, walking me through the entire process which seemed very easy. The price was right and the closed cell foam seemed to be a better product for what I needed. Within a week after the boat show my boat was getting measured with Clay (who also was a very nice and professional individual). Clay installed the pads and I couldn’t be happier. It looks amazing and feels even better under my feet. If you are ever thinking about this type of decking don’t look anywhere else; all water customs IS the place to go!
