Business XL

I worked with Julius at Business XL and signed a contract on April 26, 2025, for two “business in a box” setups. Services officially started on April 30, and based on great things I had heard about Julius, I was genuinely excited to begin. During our consultation, I clearly expressed the need to have both businesses completed by June 1, (by the way my invoice states a 5-7 day delivery) and he agreed to that timeline.Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. I was repeatedly asked to resend documents and information that had already been provided—several times. By mid-May, neither business had forms, products, templates, or automations completed. Only partial website work had been done, and even that was nowhere near finished.Due to delays, I took the initiative to create my own forms, calendars, product listings, invoice templates, and more—excluding the websites, which I left untouched and informed him of. As the end of May approached, both websites were still incomplete. No automations were in place, A2P setup wasn’t finished, and promised deliverables like a client portal and uploaded course content were still missing. When I attempted to follow up, I didn’t hear back for three days. The last message I received said a link would be sent—yet it never came. When Julius finally responded, he was upset that I made adjustments to the website. He then mentioned that it typically takes him at least 30 days to complete one business in a box. However, this was never disclosed up front, especially considering we had agreed to a June 1 deadline for two businesses.I requested a partial refund due to the lack of progress and follow-through, but was told he was not in a place to accommodate a refund. I gave him another two weeks to complete the remaining tasks, which included automation setups, A2P registration, a course upload, and portal creation. Sadly, that deadline was missed as well. I had to follow up again just to get a status update.Another concern: when something doesn’t go as planned, Julius will not answer phone calls. He only responds by text, often after long delays—making communication difficult and frustrating. The end result:Business 1: Website loads slowly, A2P setup is only halfway done, automations are incomplete and include links copied from other client projects.Business 2: No A2P registration, no automations, no client portal, no course uploaded—just a partially completed website. In my opinion, Julius has potential and can deliver quality work—but he is a one-man operation who struggles with communication and time management. If you’re on a tight schedule or managing multiple projects, I recommend setting very clear expectations and being prepared for delays.
