Units was the right call for our long distance move. The ability to call the local office to secure our delivery dates was imperative . They may not be the cheapest option but they are the most reliable. I was able to have my Units delivered on a Friday and picked up on a Saturday. The communication was easy and the drivers were excellent. This is my second move with this outfit and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Don't be fooled by cheaper options that may not accurately represent the cost of the fuel to get to your location.

They are well sealed so no water or pests got into the containers while they were in use. I am not moving again, but if I did, I would use Units hands down. Their communication was very responsive. Units was a great solution for my moving needs. I was able pack my unit in Chicago (admittedly a little more challenging in an urban spot, but the company was flexible in making it work), and then have it moved to Denver and placed in storage. I visited the unit after arrival to grab some things, and this was easy. It stayed in storage for several months while I house-hunted and then was dropped off and picked up exactly as requested at my new home. This is a slightly pricier option than others for this scenario, but you get what you pay for and I recommend!

Did an 1800 mile move with 3 16 ft containers provided by Units long distance. The local Units franchises at both ends and the long distance folks were fantastic! Responsive, informative, prompt and just plain friendly easy to work with people. They picked up and transportedour three containers 1800 miles in about a week, fantastic. Will definitely use Units again if the need arises. I debated using Pods which were much less expensive for 3 containers, but we filled our Units containers to the ceiling and they were very heavy, would have been overweight with Pods, requiring more containers and equalizing the price in the end. Units also come with real E-track sockets for much more secure strapping of the items inside. Nothing in our three containers was damaged!

I had a great experience with UNITS for my Massachusetts to Michigan move. I had originally set up the move with PODS but they refused to deliver the container due to some overhead wires. I had already arranged moving help and timing was crucial. I got on the phone with UNITS and unlike Pods they were super nice and helpful and they got me a Units container on short notice. They had no problem with the wires as their delivery system is much more flexible and they can fit the containers into tighter spaces. Both the local UNITS franchises (South Shore MA and Detroit MI) and the Long Distance Move people were very customer focused and genuinely friendly to deal with and I was very happy with the service. They provided the container and straps and they bring a lock, which you pay a little bit for but it is nice to not have to think about that. My move required a few months of storage before I had the home I was moving into and the storage price was reasonable and they were very accommodating regarding delivery. I recommend them highly for a move of any distance.

Units stored and moved my belongings across the country. I had my unit for 5 years, and everything (clothing, delicate items, furniture, etc) stayed in perfect condition. Everything remained clean and nothing was broken. The Units staff in both North Carolina and California were always super nice and helpful. It was easy to access my unit when needed. The unit was dropped off at our Omaha residence at the agreed upon time, and picked up promptly when we had finished filling it. The personnel were courteous, helpful, and professional.We scheduled the delivery of the unit to our new address several days after it had arrived in Las Vegas. It was delivered before the specified time and placed in a position which allowed for our rapid emptying of the unit. Although we noticed a little shifting of the packed goods, we experienced no damage. The unit was picked up promptly. The personnel in Las Vegas were also very courteous and professional.Although I hope to not be moving again soon, I recommend Units for anyone looking for a DIY solution to a move. They were by far the most economical option available to us.

I had an excellent experience with UNITS Long Distance Moves as well as with the local UNITS franchise in Memphis, TN. I highly recommend this company because they were able to change according to our needs. I had a direct contact with the local franchise as well as with the long distance move department. They were very quick to respond when I reached out to them and always worked hard to change delivery/pickup dates if our timing or needs changed. I know it wasn’t ideal for them to have to make those quick changes, but the fact they could do it and were kind and understanding about it made our move stress free. We paid more than what we would’ve paid with one of their competitors (1800Packrat), but it was well worth the extra expense. The other company had terrible communication and just seemed dishonest in their dealings with me. UNITS was top-notch in every way and you won’t be disappointed going with them for your long distance move.

We used UNITS Long Distance Moves for our move from Salt Lake City, UT to Austin, TX. When given our price quote, they asked a good number of questions and suggested the number of Units it would take for our particular household. As we got closer, we were afraid we would need one more, and they were more than happy to accommodate. However, we did not need that last one, what they suggested worked wonderfully. They called a day ahead of pickup and drop off (on each side of the move) and made sure we were ready. They were flexible when we needed a little more time (again, on each side of the move). It was an excellent experience. The one suggestion I would give to anyone that has more than one Unit - you can space out when you get each. For example, we got 2 delivered one day, then a week later we had one picked up and one more delivered. All three units traveled together to Austin, but it really helped in loading and knowing our space. I would definitely recommend UNITs to anyone.

Then finally the Phoenix/Mesa location stored our two containers while our house was under construction. All three followed up to confirm times and ensure that I was take. Care of.
