First, I’m usually not a person who takes classes; however, I had heard such great things from friends about CrossFit that I decided to try it. I’m so glad I did! Coaches Kevin, Amy and Lisa are wonderful! I have osteoarthritis, a torn meniscus and a lot of scar tissue from 40+ years of competing in sports. The Coaches are so accommodating and patient! Although I have been slow going and the workout is modified to prevent further injury to my knee, I can already feel and see the difference in my overall strength. I walk several miles a day but, after starting CrossFit, I feel better than I have in a long time. Walking is great but it doesn’t give me the strength (especially upper body and core) that I need! CrossFit does so I alternate CrossFit with walking to get a full week of strength and cardio training. My goal is to be fit well into my 60s and beyond and with Coach Kevin and his coaching crew at CrossFit I have no doubt that I will be able to do it! Less

a great welcoming place to workout
The best decision I have ever made for my health was walking into RNF Crossfit. As a 40+ mama of five, I have never felt stronger in my life. I love the atmosphere and community and the training is top-notch! No other gyms for me!!!! <3

This is an amazing gym. Me and my girlfriend came to visit because we were in town for vacation and it was amazing. Mitch is an amazing coach and we enjoyed the whole family. 10/10 recommend!

We dropped in on our short trip around Mammoth Cave and it was great! Super easy to register and Kevin and crew were very welcoming. They follow Mayhem programming so it was a great workout too. I especially like the warm up for lifting focusing on technique! Highly recommend and will be sure to drop in again if we’re ever in town! Thanks again!

The trainers at RNF are awesome! I am a beginner at CrossFit, and overweight, and they have been able to modify things for me so I can enjoy working out while getting a good workout while pushing myself to get stronger! Kevin is very understanding of current health issues (such as bad knees, etc) and listens while also providing solid feedback.
I dropped in this morning at RNF CrossFit and what a great experience! Great facility and excellent coaching. Thanks so much Kevin! We will definitely be back!

This is the first gym I’ve ever been a part of and I’m very much a beginner. Coaches are great and make me comfortable even when I’m struggling they are encouraging and helpful! Wonderful atmosphere and great people!! I recommend this place to everyone no matter your age or physical ability!!
I would have never thought that Crossfit was for me. I am significantly overweight and out of shape. But Kevin and the folks at RNF CrossFit have helped me by modifying things for me to help me get a handle on my fitness. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I joined RNF CrossFit 3 weeks ago and it’s been the best decision I’ve made in a while. The workouts are extremely challenging but that is why you join, to reach goals you never thought you could. The community of athletes are very encouraging and Kevin has been a great coach! Leave your ego at the door and actually have fun pushing yourself to new heights!
Not only do we get to work out here (worth the 35 minute drive from Tompkinsville every day), but when we photograph events, we get to see much of the behind the scenes that many don’t see because they are doing the workouts. We see ones encouraging each other to do their best. We see friendly competition. We see pride and sense of accomplishment when someone does something they never thought they would do when they first set foot inside RNF. We see people light up when one of their fellow athletes walks thru the door. We see the coach making small tweaks for each athlete to prevent injuries while helping achieve goals. We see him change what athletes can do based on their individual abilities/injuries. We see lots of hi fives and fist bumps. We see a group of people of all ages and all fitness levels (from preteen to in their 70s) all working at their own level to improve their health. We hear the dad jokes and one-liners. When I mention something like kettlebell swings or cleans he always tells me how they do it at RNF..and he’s proud he knows! RNF coaches teach him proper technique to ensure he stays clear of injuries when he is working out and that will only make him better as he grows older. I wasn’t sure how he would like the classes as he is a bigger framed little boy and told him that it wasn’t mandatory he goes. He’s been going on and off for almost two years now and has always requested to go back after a break. He loves RNF and I love that he loves it too! Less

Kevin and team welcomed me for a small open gym workout on a Sat morning. Everyone was very friendly and Kevin was nice enough to offer a few things for me to work on. Very casual but overall great vibe. Drop in rates lower than the expected, will definitely drop in again in the future.
Joining RNF is like joining small family. The motivation everyone gives is awesome and the coaching staff is good too.
You will not be disappointed in the atmosphere and community.

When I first started, I couldn’t do a real push-up, I could barely run 200m, and I couldn’t jump rope 10 times in a row. We’ve now been going a little over six months and I can do things I thought I’d never be able to do. There are still basic things I’m working on, but we are all a work in progress. My husband is making even quicker progress than I am and I love seeing how happy he has become since we started. And another huge part of RNF is the community. I put up a review before, but I thought it was time to update it. A little over 2 years ago, I knew that I needed to do something about my physical and mental state. Despite being very introverted I sent a message to RNF and got a response immediately. The next morning I showed up looking for a simple place to workout and I told Kevin that i had 2 goals. "I wanted to be consistent, and I didn't want to get hurt." That's how it started, but now I have so much more that i have gained. 1. I am far more physically fit than i ever was. I have put on about 20 pounds of muscle, but also reduced my body fat from 25% to about 20%. 2. My mental state is far better and my stress has greatly been reduced. 3. I have gained a group of friends that I really enjoy being around. They cheer for me, they look for me when i am not there, we laugh together, push each other to be better. 4. Wrap that all up in an extremely family friendly environment and It becomes something that my entire family can be a part of. I am very happy that something compelled my to reach out to RNF. I have always wanted to try CrossFit. After a week of participating in the WOD (workout of the the day) I am starting to feel better. The workouts change every day. They are challenging but fun. The owner pays attention to those working out the whole time. He wants you to improve and encourages you on your journey.

And since they’ve moved locations, there is a ton of parking, plenty of room to work out and even more equipment. And since they’ve moved locations, there is a ton of parking, plenty of room to work out and even more equipment. Our class has become like family, and when we go to other classes, we get just as much of a welcome. This is by far the best gym in Glasgow! Original post: This place is amazing! The trainer, Kevin, genuinely cares about each person who walks in and wants to help them reach their personal goals. You don’t just get a “gym membership” when you sign up here. You get a personal coach. You get community. You get motivation. They have several different times, starting at 5:00am which is the class I attend. I’ve only been going for two weeks and already feel the difference. It’s not like other workouts I’ve done where you do a circuit and think you’ve done well. You have someone there to make sure you have good form, that you don’t do anything to hurt yourself, that you breathe correctly, and motivates you to keep going. They also have several events open to the public, without a membership, such as Friday Night Lights where you compete with those at your same level. Where all those in the different classes can all meet together once in awhile. Where people can come and see what it’s like and have a meal together. On holidays, they do a special workout in memory of ones who have given their life in service to others. We drive 35 minutes one way to RNF, but it’s worth it for us to have someone coach us along the way. We’ve worked out to videos before, but no one from Nike, Beach Body or other programs can see you. They don’t know if you’re having correct form or over-exerting yourself. Having a personal coach is wonderful and we recommend it to anyone. Less
