Make sure you’re under 350lbs. I’m 6’7” and a bit husky for sure. I’ve lost ~70lbs in the last 6 months and I felt like my body needed some help adjusting to the new load. I called because I was referred by a friend because the doctor is a tall man himself. I arrived early for my appointment and filled out all the requested paperwork and waited patiently for my appointment. The doctor was working with another patient and walked past me in the waiting room. He asked if I was over 350 which I replied that I was. He then informed me that I was too heavy for his equipment and asked if I was interested in medical weight loss options. Although everyone was polite, I didn’t feel like the doctor had the time to even talk to me as my conversation was in the middle of him working with another patient. I felt a bit embarrassed and feel like much of my pride and time could have been saved with a few qualifying questions. My fault for being fat.

I am indebted to FaceBook (Yes :) where I saw an ad for First Choice Medical Center. I was suffering from neck/back discomfort and an old knee injury. Previously, I had went to the same chiropractor for many years before moving to this area so I was very nervous finding a chiropractor I could trust. From the moment I entered First Choice Medical center the entire staff was amazing- from the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Bowlby himself. I was spoken to in a manner that I could understand and I was given hope that I would feel better. A treatment plan was presented and I am just starting my sixth week of therapy. Already, I have less swelling in my knee and my neck pain/flexibility is off the charts better. Thank you for helping me to feel so much better and dealing with my anxious hot mess self :)

Very helpful, friendly, accommodating of schedule. First chiropractor that has taken x-rays and was able to visually show me what is going on with my body. Has helped a lot to decrease pain and increase strength.

I love these folks! Went in a couple months ago because my back has been hurting for years! It turns out my spine has a bit of a curve. My upper back feels so much better after 7 weeks and now we're focusing on getting my lower back to loosen up. I cannot tell you what a relief it is to work with these amazing, friendly, knowledgeable people! Skeptical, that was my first impression. I didn’t know what to expect or how it worked. I heard many tales by friends and co-workers of going to Chiropractors and how they contorted to feel good. I didn’t know if I would go along with that. But when I went into Dr. Bowlby’s office and spoke to him after the initial examination, I felt very comfortable. He explained my problem and what he would do in 12 weeks. Well 6 weeks have come and gone and I feel great. Not totally at 100 percent, was not expecting that, but well enough that my sciatic is much more bearable, my balance is great, not wobbly, and the feeling from feet has become more sensitive. As a measurement to this fact, Dr. Bowlby reexamined me again showing me results of additional weight gain on one side and sensitivity testing showing either 50 and 100 percent better. The methods he uses to get a person better is exceptional. I have another 6 weeks to go with my treatment and feel comfortable of getting better. I would recommend Dr. Bowlby to anyone. .

I couldn't move my arm for 2 days I was in so much pain. I called they got me right in and in 10 minutes I walked out with a pain level of a 5 and able to move my arm. Thank you so much.
