This was such an amazing install! But, let me start from the beginning! Firstly, Chanel was on time. My appointment was set for first thing in the morning. As this was my first time ever booking a service with her I was praying this time did not get pushed back since it does take quite a bit of time. And, it didn’t! We started off at the wash bowl with her assistant. She took her time washing my hair which I appreciate. I’ve noticed since living in Houston that my washes are either required to be done prior to coming to the salon or they are rushed. Next, she took her time not only pattern matching the extensions to my hair, but the texture as well. This was when I said “okay, you for sure know you’re in good hands!” Lol. Both her and her assistant began installing my ktips which allowed for a quicker end result. I believe I was told six hours for a start to end time, however, it took less than that. This was my first time ever receiving ktips and it won’t be my last. I’m usually a sew in girlie, but the access I have to my scalp and how lightweight it feels is just amazing! Before leaving she also showed me how to style my hair. This is something I feel most stylist do not do as they just want you to have to come to them for every little thing. IF I HAD to say something was a negative, some of my ktips could have been started a little closer to my root. However, it was a few, not a lot. I can not say enough about how amazing she is, not just at the fact that she SLAYS my hair every time I go to her, but at the beautiful person she is inside. I always come out of her chair feeling not only outwardly better, but inwardly as well. I also get a TON of compliments on my custom color which she did w/ no direction from me because I had no idea what I wanted LOL but she used her expertise to match colors that would blend well with my skin tone & the look I attempted to describe I was going for and it came out BEAUTIFULLY! And talk about dedication to her clients. I don't know of any other stylists that would meet you at 6am to do ktips on the same day they have to catch a flight!
