Chanel took very good care of my hair. I didn’t think it could grow past my ears and after 3 Ktip installs, protein treatments, and regular washes my hair is almost to my bra. More than that it’s thicker and healthier. I use her leave in and follicle fertilizer religiously and my hair has never been healthier I’m so sad to see her move. She’s so nice and welcoming and professional.

I had some questions before purchasing bundles/closure and no one ever responded to the inquiry I sent to the email on the website, no one picked up the phone during business hours, and no social media response either. This was a very time sensitive issue given the purpose for the hair and was left disappointed.

While my hair looked beautiful after the initial K-Tip installation, the lack of professionalism afterward was disappointing. The service was supposed to include a complimentary shampoo, but despite multiple attempts to schedule it—including showing up for a confirmed appointment—I received no follow-up or courtesy.This stylist seems more focused on securing the initial high-cost appointment than building lasting relationships with clients. I had genuinely hoped to find a long-term stylist, but that doesn’t appear to be her priority.There are many other talented professionals in Houston who take pride in their work and value clients who can afford and are willing to invest in premium hair services. I’d recommend finding one of them instead.

Chanel and her team are so skilled at what they do and they actually care about my hair. I came in a month ago to get ktips. A previous provider did my previous ktips and I didn’t like them, so I wanted to wait a full month before leaving a review. Even coming in for my Ktip wash was so pleasant and welcoming.I’ve found my hairstylist finally! And I’m not looking back.

I really try to refrain from writing bad reviews but I do believe good feedback is important for businesses to improve. I had an appointment scheduled for a closure sewin and upon arrival Chanel was not there. Her assistants who were there were kind and informed me that Chanel will be arriving at the end of the appointment with my hair. I paid a $400 deposit and upon arrival Chanel through her assistants telephone states that she will be sending a $760 invoice that needs to be paid prior to any services being done. As a first time client that has not at this point even met Chanel in person nor seen the hair she is supposed to be installing/bringing with her I felt this was a bit unprofessional and inappropriate. I understand that some stylists may be cautious of clients walking out and not paying but that is what we pay a hefty deposit for. You have to meet clients halfway and ensure their first time experience is up to par with the amount they are paying you (over $1k for the sewin) that means being present and building good rapport with your new clients. When I get Botox, my nails done, waxes, lymphatic drainages, lashes or literally any other beauty service done it is always customary for the service to be completed first with payment at the end. I am apart of the legal community here in Houston and I know quite a few young professionals that are interested in k-tips. I was considering getting k tips myself if the service for the sewin was great but I don’t think in good faith I could return as a client or recommend her services to anyone. This is a great example of how your attitude & business practices can actually negatively impact your bottom line. Instead of focusing on how you can squeeze as much money out of your clients with up charges and additional fees, consider the experience your client is having and your business will flourish.

I rarely leave bad reviews for subpar services but this was too infuriating and I wish someone warned me.Book at your own risk!! Had an appointment well in advance with Chanel only for me to get there and someone else was saying “sit here I’ll be your stylist today”. This was after communicating with who I thought was Chanel over the past 2 days, sending pics etc. No mention of possible stylist change or illness. I have been looking at Chanel’s work for MONTHS deciding if I wanted to book her, and then there’s this last minute attempt to switch stylists. I’m absolutely livid!At this point I can’t even be sure if the work on her IG is hers because I am baffled at the fact that you don’t respect your own work as a stylist enough to think anyone else can just take your place without even having the courtesy of letting the customer know ahead of time. If you had enough time to get another stylist due to illness as claimed, you had enough time to ask the customer if 1. It was ok, and 2. Offer a refund ahead of time. I literally drove an hour after a night shift for this.While Chanel did finally call me and refund my booking deposit after I left the salon, I am now scrambling to look for another stylist for a trip I have in 24 hours.I was warned about booking these Instagram stylists and I guess I had to learn.There was NOTHING luxury about this, and with these prices… So like I said, book at your own risk.

Dime did a half up half down sew in for me and it t was perfect! I was very nervous about how my hair would do in a pony because it's very kinky and natural, but dime molded my hair sooo slick and sleek. I ended up wearing it for two weeks instead of one, and it did not budge!
