I recently took my wife to Prime on the Mile in Freeport for a Valentine's Day brunch, and I'm so glad we went! The restaurant is owned by the same team behind my absolute favorite local spot, Prime 39, where comfort food seamlessly blends with fine dining vibes.To be honest, I was hesitant at first. I'd tried booking brunch earlier, but the pricing wasn't clearly explained, which turned me off. But after I shared my thoughts on social media—saying how much I wanted to love it but hadn't given it a fair shot yet—the manager, Diedre, reached out and personally convinced me to give it another try. Thank you, Diedre—I'm thrilled I listened!The food was incredible, just as I'd hoped. I ordered the Jerk lamb and grits (something I'd never tried before), and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful, tender, and perfectly executed. The setting felt cozy and spotless, with music playing at just the right volume and energy level. What really elevated the experience was the lively ambiance: a vocal host wandered around encouraging guests to sing along to the tunes—it was so much fun and created this warm, communal vibe.But what impressed me most was the service. Diedre was noticeably pleasant and genuinely welcoming; she has this special way of making every guest feel like they truly belong there. It's clear her positive energy sets the tone for the entire staff—they were all attentive, friendly, and on point.Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day outing. The food, atmosphere, and hospitality were all top-notch. We're definitely going back—highly recommend!

This is a really nice spot woth great food, im a big fan of their salads!! And they have a great vibe for parties. Date nights. Even girls time! Had a great experience at Prime in the Mile. The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcomed from start to finish. The mimosas were really good, perfectly balanced and refreshing. Overall, a great spot for good vibes, good drinks, and quality service. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Celita was my favorite my waitress and was very nice.

I celebrated my birthday with my family and enjoyed everything about our experience there. The food options and the taste of the food was good. I normally watch the type of food that I eat but I had to break the rules for this one. I had the lolly pop lamb chops with some mashed potatoes. It certainly satisfied the greedy man I tend to hide. I followed that with a carrot cake that had my taste buds cheering. My drink was a rum punch that taste far better than what I've experienced at other places that claim to make a rum punch.Lastly, I want to add that the restroom was clean, and they had a nice mirror for me to make sure I sidnt have any food in my teeth, and I look as nice as when I first stepped in. My family and friends enjoyed the experience and plan to not wait for birthdays to do it all over again. I want to thank the staff and management for making this an awesome experience, and one for the history books.
