Her work was really clean and neat, and I liked that she was able to get me in for an appointment quickly. Her work and skills in braiding is flawless and she is so fast and professional in what she is doing. However, when I got home, I was really disappointed with how my braids turned out. I tried to explain what I wanted, like avoiding big boxy areas in the front, but it seemed like she didn't listen. Even though I asked for the same style, color, and length I had before, my concerns were brushed off. To make matters worse, she was on the phone yelling the whole time, and in the rare moments I got a chance to talk, she didn't take my comments or listen to what I had to say. It made me wonder if both braiders treated me this way because I'm not part of the community or something! Despite trusting her skills at first, I was let down by the final result. There is no issues in my braids itself, but I had some personal preferences which none of them were met. The braids ended up way shorter than I wanted, and the style and color weren't what I asked for. The tiny braids on the big boxy areas didn't look good on me at all. Plus, I paid a lot for this service. While the braids themselves were done neatly, I left feeling really unhappy. I believe one of the most important thing for a successful business is listening to clients needs and even if what they are asking for is not possible or you don’t know how to do it, communicate with them before doing anything! Great experience at Banka, was able call and book an appointment fir our daughter within 24 hours. She is a college student, and do we were great full fir the flexibility with the hours. Our daughter loves her cornrows, lots of compliments on campus. Will definitely make this our go to braider.
