These guys know what they’re doing. I drove from Columbia Illinois and I was in and out in no time problem solved for my whole house vacuum system that we had installed in 1989. Adam is the real deal. It sure beat trying to figure out what I needed on line.

Evan recently installed extensions to our remodeled basement from our existing central vacuum system. He was very thorough and reasonably priced. One day after completing the installation of our basement vacuum extensions, he immediately came back out to our house to fix the system because the drywallers for the basement botched up our system (on a Saturday, no less!) by their severing a wire to the system making the suction fail. It wasn't Evan's fault, but theirs. He came out and saved the day! Great customer service!

First of all, these guys are super duper great! Knowledgeable, friendly, prompt. Went in for a clogged hose… but actually a gasket was not where it was supposed to be! They fixed me right up - right then! Will definitely be visiting the shop again! Thank you!

Evan and Adam are always helpful pleasant and affordable. Nobody enjoys going to vacuum their house on cleaning day or if you like me that's everyday and the vacuum won't work. Evan has made house calls they've worked with me cuz I'm disabled and on a budget absolutely recommend for all of your vacuum needs these guys really suck good!!!!

My husband brought our bissel pro heat rug cleaner to have them evaluate to see if it's worth fixing and asked them to call and let us know his results and the cost. He said he would let us know results on the cleaner and the cost and if it was worth fixing or not. 2 weeks passed and no call so my husband went to the shop and he had proceeded in fixing our cleaner without notifying us. He said he was waiting on a part to complete. Needless to say we weren't happy about this. But now he said it was worth fixing . And than said it would cost $75 for the repair when it was completed. We didn't know at that point what to do as now our cleaner was being repaired without our consent. We decided to let him finish and pay their service even though we weren't happy about this. We got the cleaner back after another few weeks. He said it would be now $100 . My husband said you said $75 and he said yes $75 I forgot about that. We never had a problem with them before as we had taken other items there before to fix in previous years. The thing that bothers me the most is why they didn't consult us before fixing. It was supposed to be our decision on fixing this not theirs.

I had a central vac installed in my remodeled older home. I called around for prices and options from different people, and everyone wanted thousands and thousands and gave me the run around. I called Evan at the Vac Shack and he was prompt answering the phone, came out on time, and did an estimate that was fair and good value for my hard-earned money. If you want someone who will not over charge you and pad a bill because they can, trust these folks! I'm glad I did, also while Evan was over he noticed one of my older vacuum cleaners and he helped me find a hard to get filter and some other parts I needed to save my older canister vacuum!
