There are not enough stars to give North Dallas Renovations. After meeting with five other contractors, I am so glad that I chose to work with NDR. From the very beginning they were clear in communicating everything from price to timeline to process. They were so flexible and accommodating to all of my changes and additional tasks that I incorporated into the project later down the line. Renovation projects rarely go to plan but it is rare to find contractors that will go above and beyond to make things work when something goes wrong. I really felt like the entire NDR team was committed to this project as if it was the only one they had on their schedule, which I know it was not. They were able to complete my kitchen renovation, interior painting and installation of new light fixtures (along with many other tasks I threw in there) within the small window of time I had before moving into my new home. The main contractors on my project, Omar and Eddy, did not sacrifice any quality in doing so and all of their work was completed with precision and care. The project manager, Darrell, was extremely responsive and provided daily updates on what was being done. We hired NDR to help us remodel our kitchen, laundry room, and downstairs bathroom. It was a big project, and like any home renovation project, it came with ups and downs and surprises along the way. But, NDR showed commitment to the project and pivoted in areas where changes needed to be made and even provided guidance with decisions we weren’t sure about. Due to labor and sub contractor issues, the project took a little longer than originally expected, but NDR was committed to make sure we were happy and every detail was to our satisfaction until the very end of completion. We specifically worked with Ron and Weston, who managed our project. They always returned calls and texts and would come to the house quickly if something came up or there was a question about the house. We originally contacted North Dallas Renovations for a project that we ultimately had to put on hold (our decision), however the stars aligned that we had gotten to know them and pivoted to work with them when our dishwasher leaked and caused extensive damage to kitchen, mainly our wood floors and kitchen cabinetry. We worked with them to refinish our entire first floor wood floors, build new cabinetry, and paint. Our contractor Darrell had extremely good commination skills and always explained everything clearly (and did not mind repeating multiple times if we had questions). He also understood the inconvenience it was to be without a kitchen right before the Christmas holidays and he put a lot of effort in to make sure things were lined up just right so that we had a working kitchen right in time for Christmas. Had he not been on top of things, the timing would not have worked out. We were extremely pleased with how things turned out. The different crews (painters, cabinet team, floor team, etc) that were in our house each day were also very professional. Kyle and Kim were great in the planning stages of the project helping us define the scope of the changes and working through the details. The project manager, Brandon, was always open to discuss the progress and work out solutions to the minor issues that popped up. When there was a problem with the stone for our countertops and we had to scramble to find a replacement. Brandon went above and beyond working with suppliers and the fabricator to find alternatives. As we were out looking for a new slab, we ran into another NDR employee, Destiny, who was out working for another job but immediately offered to help out and let us know if she found anything for us as she was working on her other project. Kyle and his team are A+. I had the team of Brandon (project manager), Feliciano (foreman), and Ever as Painter lead. All are perfectionists and when a problem pops up (as they will with an older home like mine) they come up with a solution and actually get back to you a.s.a.p. if you call. Brandon was very hands on with the project checking in daily, and answering phone fast if off site. I would request Ever again, for sure, he is a perfectionist, as am I (I am quite picky). The quality control is good and they check most things on their own, but if something is missed and you request a look, they fix it fast. Feliciano fixed things not on the list like leveling my doors... He is awesome. I was treated with respect as was my house.
